Very sad news..... RIP mate
-
Wait, so being on the brink of ww3, due to a radical terrorist group royally ****ing up the world left right and centre isn't a reason for sending the military in - because 'there might be casualties' on our side?
So what reason should we have to use the military? Hand out parking fines? assist police pick pocketing crimes? As these seem a lot less life threatening than defending a country.
If your point is don't send in the army due to casualties, then what is the point in having an army?
As Dan said, people sign up knowing full well what they are getting into.
Hear what your saying but there is NO chance of ever coming out of this with peace being created, never ever will the middle east be at peace. They've been at war for thousands of years....Christian crusades to present day. I look at it this way. If am going have a square go on a one one basis then am game...why... because there's a even chance of victory. However going in a most a force you have no chance against is pure stupidity and definately suicide. As I've said twice now...thousands of years of war ain't going to be brought to an end by good old Blighty. Every invading country that has tried has had their ass handed to them. There will never be peace in the middle east....ever.

There are TEN countries currently bombing the @*!# out of Syria as we speak, do we really need another country dropping bombs ???
There is so much inter faction / country conflict going on in this mess, not for me............... just remember Iraq and Afghanistan, years of blood letting and then we pull out and the Taliban and Al Queda move straight back in, followed by Daesh. Sorry but we've been meddling in the middle east for too many decades without ever actually achieving the objectives....... peace. But having said that, no matter what is done, the middle east will always be a war zone, always has been........ for thousands of years in fact, do you honestly believe bombing in Syria will solve it, I know it won't. Only thing that will stop the wars in the middle east is to turn it to glass via the A bomb

Some nice set ups posted up. I've just taken two 500 sf side by side industrial units on lease from my local council primarily for my business stuff but there's plenty of room left over to use for working on my cars and my recently purchased track slag. The Mrs won't let me build a double garage in the garden
Bonus is they are only 2 mins up the road from my house, so not bad.

TORQEN - www.torqen.uk has 10% OFF everything, voucher code: BLACK FRIDAY.
Nice i didn't realize the website was live.... or that he was banned and unable to post it himself. Probably explains things
Except there's a minimum spend required to get the 10% discount, can't see any thing that says what the minimum spend is. Just tried to order a Rare JDM harness cover and it won't let me due to minimum spend not being reached. Think I'll email Adrian.

Interesting post. Got me thinking..... can any of the mods / high post number members or maybe even one of the founding fathers of the forum point me to some of the earliest posts ( or are they to old and archived off ?), would love to take a read through the history of the club. I've had a mooch around but can't find any relevant links or posts to the beginning in of the club.

I don't think there are many 350's that don't have the notchy crunchy box. Mines is notchy going into 2nd and crunches if I put into 5th to quickly. 2nd gets better when it warms up but 5th only goes in smoothly if I don't rush it. Replaced the oil just after I got and added molyslip but hasn't made any difference. Lazy / slow synchro design and you really just have to live with it or fork out mucho £ for rebuild .............. I've learned to work with mine and it's fine as long as I don't try to ram 5th.
Try changing at different revs, double clutching , slower etc........ you will find a smooth way ......providing the synchro is not goosed completely.

June 2016 Scotland Trip
in National Events & Shows
Posted
Done this route with my mate on our motorbikes a few years back and have fancied it again in the Zed. Pity the group numbers are all taken. I would be up for organising another one for the members who like me haven't been able to get their names in quick enough. Let me know who's up for it. I would only be able to do a Friday to Monday trip though due to business constraints.I'd also look to do it in May 2016. Any takers ?
