There is a little more to it that that as i am sure you know Yep. but still couldnt justify it. Stick a different center cap in the middle and no-one will know what they are anyway when the car comes back and i can measure the ground clearance over some local bumps ill then be able to see how low i can go on these.
-
Yep they are reps. Vossen CVTs i got quotes on for around £1700 - £1800 for the set. without tyres. These are Bola ZZR's, and they are readily available online for £600 a set. I could literally buckle, bend or mangle 3 of these and replace them, and not be worse off than if i bought a set of Vossens. Just couldnt justify the extra £££ for the brand name.

Thread revival.... so the Rays have a 66.1mm ? i've just pulled the cap out of my new alloys, and its ~66mm. so i can just swap my OEM Rays ''Z'' center cap into it? cheers in advance.
-
thats not a bad idea.
-
I cant do it now, as the tyres are alrady fitted (and are designed to run in a certain rotation) but, i wonder what these alloys would look like if they were swapped to the other side. i.e, if the alloy blades were 'cutting' instead. Photoshop task for someone....

Wheels are here just need a car now! lol. I found a little ray of sunshine in the garden to put them in. im afraid my camera phone doesnt do it justice. what you are looking at are the rear 2 wheels, so that you can see the different diection (as these wheels are sided) I need to lose the 'bola' center cap though. looks terrible. other than that, look great. they feel REALLY heavy though. need to get some batteries in my scales and compare with the rays when they come off. Drop a PM to one of our resident tuners, like Horsham or Abbey. but, unless your changing your cam profiles your powerband will not change and you wont be making any higher peak power beyond what it is now. if the obvious choice of more power isnt what your after, and you just want to rev the bollox off of it for fun, then check what rpm the valve springs are good for on the '06 engines. I hope that was helpful... I have no experience with a Bee. But the concept is still the same. UNLESS of course i am making a wrong assumption, and you actually want to reduce the rev limiter (for when the missus gets in the car. lol)

:scare: These are awesome. Where were these last week Chris? Where were these last week. lol. I would love to see a Z with these in the flesh. -
so when are you driving to the UK to show it off? Wales 2015?
-
RT, as i understand, has fitted dozens of these, and supplies his 'own mould' of the chargespeed. I wouldnt go anywhere else... IMO. (prepared to be corrected)
-
Do all the blokes get this much of a welcome ? Theres a Wales meet in May that you should check out Michele.

Yea i know, its already been mentioned. Taras did also suggest that i have it done. but, i just use it too much. i find the wiper veryuseful. I'll get a flat blade to make it less obtuse, other than that im afraid its staying.

Excited isnt the word. I think it looks very American at the momnt, with the spoilerless arse. < which looks awful. Looking forward to my unique little spoiler& kit combo. Got to agree with the above, how awesome does it look in a Matte look?! i've never been a reall fan of matte, but probably because i usualy see dull colour like blacks, browns, and dark blues. but this Brownze looks like a winner. next project maybe...

Thought I would branch off this little thread. Cars in with RT-P, and many photos have been leaked to me with regard to the bodykit fitment. All of which can be found in the build thread http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/93252-the-pumpkin-3-month-sprint-build-post1-pic-heavy/ however Taras sent me a nice little youtube vid and a couple of pics this morning. Thought it was cool to see the video, so here i am, sharing it

Nope their website doesnt really tell you much at all. (i assume your looking at auto alloys too?) But the zzr's are a replica of the vossens. and are supposed to have the directional moulds. Now that youve mentioned it, you have put doubt in my head so i may need to call them tomorrow. But, for example - descripton of the zzr's does state directional: http://www.bmautosport.co.uk/showroom/product_info.php/new-bola-zzr-directional-concave-alloys-silver-with-polished-face-wider-rear-et4245-p-4871?cPath=53_325_330 -

Yep. '' ...this is a directional 10 spoke wheel, so to create a staggered set up 4 separate moulds are produced so the wheels point the same direction on either side of the car,... '' -

I've been debating all day, do i tell or do i not tell. should i just upload a picture when its fitted? but no. i cant wait that long. BIG THANK YOU to oldbonesmcgee for finding these wheels for me. Saved me alot of money on the design that i wanted. So i have a set of these coming through. Cant wait. An example of these fitted to a car: And comparing to the Vossen CVTs, which are the same design. ''The Sprint'' is now almost over. Its 3-months in about 2minutes... im only behind schedule by a week or 2. nearly time to wrap up. -
lol, well, seems we are on the same page Ryan

If it were me, i would leave over it. I would be absolutely fuming. He is either going to lose you due to your promotion, or the company is going to lose you out of denial of passage to the next role.

I would absolutely love some air suspension. but for the price, i think it has to be a SC first, right? keen you seen your deals on these though. good luck.

Ah dammit, my eyes just wondered across the internet. while out for a wonder, they found Google. Now Google is a bad influence, never let your children play with Google! While exploring the Never-land Ranch of Planet Google, i got itchy fingers. Itchy fingers is a well-known disease that cannot be cured, while not life threatening it can pave the way to a Single life due to participating in sinful deeds. ah Single, if only. But, once the missus finds 4 big boxes arrive on our doorstep in a couple of days I might just be that. :yahoo: Yep i got impulsive. Just bought my wheels! on their way to me now. :teeth:
