Sorry to hear about this, strange the police wanted to take 3 weeks considering there was more than 2 witnesses. It's possible the driver could have been drinking at this time of year, would have thought they would want to check it out

Yeah Only took 15 minutes, just had to drop the glove box out. Time to start replacing a few other bits, hopefully santa has some lined up 😀

I have had a similar problem in the past even with a new motor fitted Both windows drop a little to allow for clearance when opening the door, both windows are linked to this operation Sometimes they get in a muddle and the problem is fixed by lowering both windows fully then closing fully followed by closing the door locking and unlocking locking the car. When unlocking again the problem is resolved This may help you however these windows seem to have all sorts of gremlins so I've recently become very anal bout my windows Hope u get it sorted soon

Successfully wired up the reverse camera today. Couldn't find the reverse wire colour so made an educated guess and tested the orange wire first with a multimeter and it was the correct one. So just too confirm on a 2003 JDM v35 350gt the reverse wire is orange.

Glad I found the answer to this, but strange that you have to subscribe to your own posts, is there no setting to do this automatically?

Not sure if the wiring on z is same as v35, planning on fitting reverse camera at weekend and need to tap into reverse wire to power camera and auto switching. There is a loom running from each light across boot, wondering if anyone knows which colour reverse loom is.

Not black, zed's black and only looks clean once washed, mrs wants white, but that's just as bad. The one I test drover was a metalic royal blue ish, I really liked it, Mrs said was an old man's colour. Well I am nearly 40! I know how you feel, I have noticed a knocking and a clicking, so my new years list will no doubt include banana arms and drop links. I have a feeling father Christmas is bringing me some lowering springs so a suspension overhaul is on the cards.

I could test drive one (R32) but I think I've fallen in love with the sciricco, always wanted one (old style) so why not? Loved my old scirocco until I ended up in a ditch on a cold icy November evening. Ended up sideways, had to climb out through drivers window.

I looked into this recently and agree they simply alter the signal. I came to the conclusion that it's a case of try one to see if I like it. Going to wait for better weather though now the icy nights have arrived.
