YES dont advertise your plates!!!, the way i play it is give test drives and if they like the car work out a deal subject to a test drive to the bank with insurance and get the insurance company on the phone and only deal direct with banks. I think you could get 9.5k as the leather colour is rare and its a HR. i got my HR for 11K with every optional extra at 45K 6 months back. Be patient and have your price in mind dont get excited to get the process over and done with. Please best bet is deal with money at the bank and not your coffee table i am sure of horror stories to be told.

I would not touch this car with a barge pole, the highest risk I would take is a HPI clear car with full stamps but no receipts and RAC warranty and get money taken off.. My car was on for 12.500 got him down to 11,000 with no service receipts at 40.000k. I was even worried after the buzz wore off and your talking about a car that's been in a crash. Any serious enough problems can be hidden from plane site and you could be he next person trying to shift this car on. The fact that the car has been wrapped indicates someone putting the rug over a coffee stain.

How much are these tyres each? I have some naff ones on the front that the previous owner put on.. Found out these are £60.00 each and they make the under steer at times í ½í¸³ the rears are OEM bridgestones

Gents I'm not sure how common this is but it's quite enjoying when your holding the shopping, I need to push and hold the boot release as the lid does not Pop all the way free of the latch. Any quick fixes anyone?

I had to bend the dust shield away front the disc as it was making a grinding sound at low speeds

I had the same sound that appeared to come from around the Y pipe and was partly the reason I riped the entire exhaust system out as it was rusted to hell on a 2007 with only 40,000... I was quite disappointed with the build quality on that front as I have Seen 2003 m3s with spotless OEM exhausts. One part to check is the back box joint/flange to the straight pipe as the weld can come away.

I had my cooling fans fail, Nissan wanted £800 for a new fan cassette and £250 to install. My Nissan is the first car I have gotten my hands dirty with and has been very rewarding. I obtained new fan motors for £50..... Them installed myself so you do the maths. Like the above just do some homework and it's very rewarding in the end. If you get the parts yourself and find a good independent then your already looking at half the costs

Personally I would not go to a Nissan dealer if that's what you have done.

I am looking to replace my Bridgestone RE050A and I have the 18 Rays alloys on the rear and the current size is 245 45 18..... could I push the 245 to anything larger i also have some dog *&?$ tyres on the front...... is this super bad althought they are the correct size. p.s i am in watford does anyone recommend a compitant tyre place?

Hey I was the same, its natural you want everything to be feeling fresh and ready to go but when i purchassed my car the cooling fans failed and the pads needed replacing and a full service, now i have tax and tyres coming up I then need bumper re-spray and alloy wheel refurbishment then we are feeling fresh.

I am of the same opinion and it really depends on your mind set, my mode of thought was I want the best 350z I can buy and that for me was a 2007 HR with low millage partly because I will be selling the car within 2 years and the HR is not massively different from the 370Z going by the 1/2 price difference. looked at a few older 350z cars and did not like the age of them. i got my car....2007 HR full service history, fully loaded 40,000 with 3 years RAC warranty 11,000

Well after our encounter he darted off the road and there was his house had a word with the chap and he says "the 370 was designed to have 370HP but Nissan thought during testing they could no have the 370 car nipping at the heels of the GT-R" although I find this hard to comprehend however he did have all sorts of performance mods like sports cats and the like but my stock little HR was up his arse. to conclude the expense of the newer car and mods does not in my opinion do a great deal on public roads.

Hey Chaps I had my first run in with a Blue 370z . OK so off the lights up through all the gears we where tit for tat. It could have been me within the slip stream helping things. Any ways story out of the way has anyone else witnessed the same thing because surly with the upgrades the 370 has it should beat my HR no? Also he says he was not giving it the beans... i was!
