I had a similar thing happen to me in my HR as it was slightly damp and i was slowing down on a curve to a round about and a tank slapper occurred, i think i might be because there is quite a bit of weight up front and the back end tends to act as a pendulum, was not at high speed though and i had crap tyres. Whilst the car feels nimble its no MX5 so it might have felt worse than it was.

What car is yours.. I have a HR but with the same sound... I does not bother me as i have come to appreciate the z makes noices that are part of its character.

Just want to say as many others have.. Great service from Ross at Japex had MOT with no issues and before I took car in the gearbox felt realy Jekey between 1-2nd and with new gearbox oil the box feels brand new and I would advise anyone to get it changed as she is Feeling brand new.

Hey Brad It seems all the things we worry about with owning such a car have happened, just see it as the rest of your motoring years will be trouble free because You deserve it. In the mean time some inspiration form an awsome film.

Very sorry to see this, The fact your lady was in the car realy brings home how well the Z has fared up again that bruit of a van.... car can be replaced and used a reminder to all how quick things can change. The damage to the car looks quite traumatic yet the structure of the car looks solid. Keep us posted on developments.

Agree with the consumables, I purchased a car that required tyres, breaks and exhaust costing me £1500 on a 50,000 mile car, 10k you could get a HR like I did whilst the car can handle 100k I always think of it a the next 50k will be its last or you will be looking at expensive problems to do with the gear box or something. I would be interested to know how long a well looked after car will last.

A Ferrari driver explained to me that the public treat him like @*!# because of his status symbol (Ferrari) means that people think he is a dick before they have judged his driving.. Just because of his car so in a small way our cars are rare and usually look spotless thus driver envy syndrome.

Just make sure the price reflects this and get it checked over by the AA or someone jacked up... I don't understand how the book can go missing though, did seller give you an idea?

Hey i have had exactly the same done and yes the cars feels great, might be a mental thing but good ........... now you can enjoy, although most owners always have something in the back of their minds that needs doing.

Clark motor sport advised on the best ones and they are not cheap in the HR... Awaiting delivery but give them a shout I can't remember what hey advised.

My car is on 50,000 with factory clutch and feels great, I dont understand on such a powerfull car you would think this to be a weak point??? ... although i have never had to change the clutch on any car i have owned.

Hey i used EBC Red stuff as they are a perfect compromise between the the rages, dont get the hard core stuff if you dont go on track as they are not required and can squeak, if your keeping origonal disks like me then after 400miles of bedding in the car hides its weight well if your running the Brombo set up even the OEM pads are quite good. I purchased my ones off Clarckmotor sport as they are quite competetive on price... just got Diff and Gbox oil and plugs for my HR £180.00 so all good.
