My HR gearbox is solid at 49k and after having Japex put Nissan oil in (moly slip causing problems now it reported) and silky smooth, yes the odd clunk like a sliding bolt in gun but feels good, cold start 1-2nd little tight but all my cars have Been the same and clutch at nearly 50k is solid... I am sorry to say but if your car is shagged it's because the driver before you was pants. I would not say it is fair to blame Nissan the people who designed these cars are miles ahead of any of us in terms of brain power. 😜

The service book is also fully stamped, most of which is Nissan and specialists (Japex) and in my time I have had the car serviced twice at Japex and only covering 4k miles since. In Summary. Every optional extra factory fitted Black - G41 Ebisu Black Metallic HPI clear RAC warranty 49k and something thousand miles 2007 350z GT with Nav and disk. Upgraded head unit with Bluetooth and Bose integration. Totally standard apart from Corbra exhaust MOT until April 2016 - no advisories 49k Just done Full alignment with 4 new tyres (Bridgestone re050a) 45k Full cobra resonated cat back exhaust fitted. (Insurance company did not charge me extra once notified of this) 45k New red stuff EBC pads and disks fitted all round. 48k new spark plugs new diff oil and gearbox oil. 46k Last service was a P2 carried out including replacement brake fluid and was properly bled through. (5k till next service) 49k two new banana arms front and drop links all around. Changing he battery in the key is this easy enough to do and get hold of... It's not done it since I reset car battery but done exactly what you described and bloody loud never heared the alarm before í ½í¸

Every time I open car the alarm goes off even with engine started? But I have since disconnected battery and reconnect and all is fine has anyone had this before because I had the car sitting for 2 weeks whilst on holiday and battey was flat maybe that?

Haha funny story... A year back once I first purchased my Z (HR) I kept bunny hopping off the line and the biting point seemed real snachy. I phoned up adverts on auto trader asking if it was normal í ½í¸³ 10k miles later no longer jumpy and clutch feel solid I just got used to the car and you will too it's just the character of the car. I don't even know what a dual thing mass thingy is to be honest?

In fact the z is faster Han the standard Cayman and the HR z is about the same 0-60

Yea it's also hard to tel what side it's from so I'm getting both done at the cost of £700 ouch. It then needs the Lazer thingy alignment stuff done í ½í¸ ouch. Will the car handle better once done?

I love the z and everything it stands for... Fun good value for money but I think a few more K and you'll have a much better car, well at least the keys will look half decent í ½í¸œ I would also feel a bit more flashy in the Porsche and I'm not a hater of Porsches because some drivers are cocks where's most 350z owners are quite down to earth and cool although you do get some real keen dudes who get excited about shiny plastic under the engine bay í ½í¸œ "ow look my engine bay look like a Nike trainer" all orange and stuff
