evening all, planning on doing a spoiler delete on my 03 zed along with rear wiper, dont want to replace it with another spoiler, going for the clean smooth look! anyone done this on here? any helpfull tips? how did you fill the holes? many thanks. doug

Jus an update, put the front wheels on today (18x10-225 40 18) and all appears fine, no slip light so far thanks for all the help. Doug

hahaha i did actually see if the 12j would fit on the front....they didnt, would need epic arch work and funnily enough spacers to clear the calipers! not something id like to do!

ah right ok... thanks very much guys, much appreciated! well ill have to have a look, luckily they are really cheap tyres (£76.99 a pair) so its not the end of the world even if it means i drive around with the tcs off till i buy some more! at least ill have fun in this wet weather! cheers again!

aha well ive already bought some 225 40 18 for the front wheels which will be 10j wide! i never even thought about this problem when i was buying the wheels/tyres etc, should have been a clever boy and asked first lol!

im on the standard wheels at the front at the moment so 225 45 18

hi everyone, ive recently fitted some hsd monopros and some rota gtr-ds to my z, ive only put the rear wheels on so far but everytime i drive it the slip light comes on? on the standard wheels its fine even with it being lowered so its something to do with the new wheels, the size of the rear wheels are 18x12 et20 so they are pretty huge, any ideas why the light is throwing up? many thanks. doug

If you want something loud that sounds great you want a Motordyne system with Art pipes. Have a listen & tell me what you think: YES..... that was lovley! the price though i dont think id go decat with straight through pipes though like in the video, i like way over the top loud exhausts but i dont think i could put up with it like that! i would leave my cats in which i think would lower the noise and rasp a bit....mabee.

this is taken from the back of the car, if you can make out the rusty part of the exhaust (lowest bit) thats the part that is kinda kinked and scrapes along the floor, it may not look like it would make much difference but in person its alot more obvious, it will also eliminate having a back box as it will be just pipes with my tips attached!

yeh, i had the same. i had a resonator delete done when i bought the car last year, they said about fitting a full custom system and said it would be around 5-600! but that would include backboxes, silencers and new y pipe and im pretty sure a decat too! i litterally just want as straight a pipe as possible from the Y and no backbox, just my oem tips attached, so hopefully shouldnt be too expensive! (theoretically)

hi guys! just put my z on coilovers and its pretty low now, nothing really scrapes apart from one bit of the exhaust ( just before the back box) it kinks down for some reason, im going to get a custom made jobby, which will be essentially straight pipes from the y pipe back, this should give me enough clearance too, just wondering if anyone else has had custom exhausts made for low z's? many thanks. doug

i fitted my coilovers, different wheels today and i scrape everything, its only really the middle of the exhaust so i need to raise it up or something, i havnt even attempted a speed bump yet and wont till ive sorted the exhaust! it looks good though aha!

how much lower can you get them to go by drilling extra holes then?

yeh, i bought them not really researching first, test fitted them today and they dont go low enough for what im after,im sure they are great coilovers but more for track use rather than just stance! i was going to drill the holes but thought id rather sell them to someone who wants them and buy the dualtechs or something similar. so if anyone wants a set of coilovers holla at me!
