  1. Haha. To be fair I think it was used for town work and shorter journeys so that probably contributed.
  2. Ah yes good idea. There's no wear but I'll get some taken and uploaded later. Something else I thought of too. It's one lady owner to 43000 miles, then me. Just been a daily driver all it's life so it hasn't had a hard life.
  3. After 4500 miles commuting to and from work, I've realised I never use my zed for anything else. The mrs doesn't like being a passenger in it so we use her car whenever we go out. So, I've decided to sell the zed. 2007 HR GT. Usual GT extras, sat nav with 2013 maps. 47,700 miles as of 9 August, but in daily use at 37 miles. New OE clutch at 43112 miles Front discs and pads at 43347 miles Service book stamped at 9854, 25239, 33893, 39368, 40687, 43347 MOT 1 October HPI clear Only modification is clear bumper reflectors. (No, not even a stubby!) Nice clean example. Usual stone chips, and grazed one front wheel a couple of weeks ago but not badly (see linked pic) It's one lady owner to 43000 miles, then me. Just been a daily driver all it's life so it hasn't had a hard life. Located in Dinnington, Sheffield. £10,250 Sorry I'm not sure how to resize pics in the post so I've only added a few. Hopefully none of you came across anyone like this moron. And in the foxhole of all places!

    Ring Trip

Cameras are allowed now. The track is nowhere near as bad as it's made out to be. Don't drive like a tool and give yourself time to learn where it goes and you'll have no issues.
  6. Sounds expensive to me. Either that or my HR is worth more than I thought.
  7. http://www.maplin.co.uk/c/cctv-and-security/cctv-kits Doesn't stop them being taken but you'll know who it was.

    Ring Trip

We always stay here http://www.hotel-wilhelmshoehe.de/ The owner Jackie is English and really friendly, and her German husband Ulrich makes cracking food. The hotel and gardens are nice and they sell Bitburger which I love. It's 10-15 minutes from the ring but the roads to get there are great. Last year we went for a short trip for just 2 days so we tried the Hotel an der Nordschleife in Adenau, thinking that it might be nice to stay closer the track. I'd wished we'd gone to Jackie's as usual as it's way better. I take my own car on track but I always hire a track car from these guys http://www.rent4ring.de/en/ Their basic Suzuki swifts will embarrass plenty of so supposedly quicker cars, and they are perfect for learning the track before you go out in something with a lot more power.
  9. I would have gone for an OE exhaust at just under £500, but I didn't see the point in paying that when the rest of it is OK.
  10. Mine is a HR too. Most of the time I don't even notice the noise but it would be nice to get rid of it.
  11. After weeks of spring lubing, then removing it all together, I've finally had a closer look at my clutch pedal clicking problem and found the source of my 'click'. It turns out it's not a click at all, but more of a tapping noise as the pedal strikes the down switch as it's pressed. The question now is, how to cure it?
  12. Haven't seen this posted before so just in case anyone else wants to do the same... The usual problem - broken at mid pipe to silencer joint, but loads of life left in the rest of the exhaust. The fix Easier than trying to weld rotten metal, and at a tenner for a clamp it's far cheaper than fitting a new exhaust that isn't really needed.
  13. I got mine from a local locksmith. No buttons, just a key, but it unlocks and starts the car which is all you need for a spare. Think it was £25
