Again as I've said this isn't a fact in any shape or form. It's an interpretation of an animal that existed when the bible was edited and put together. Originally it was thought Job was referring to a Hippo but could have been anything and certainly not described as a specific prehistoric animal. Your clutching at straws mate.

Here we have a perfect example of indoctrination. A refusal to see they have been fed lies and hearsay and present zero factual information as a truth. They actually believe it. I still find it incredible in the 21st century.

Just so you know I come from a Catholic family. Most of us are now athiest as we've seen the light as it were

He's cherry picking positives as all religious people do

The bible doesn't describe dinosaurs in any shape or form only animals that existed circa 400 AD

Better understanding is exactly what's debunking religion as tosh.

The answer to his point is that any God is a fabrication and a capricious one at that.

I nearly spat my tea out laughing when I read this one. There is absolutely nothing in any abrahamic religious text that pre dates the knowledge of man when they were written. One must be very careful when interpreting such texts, this is the biggest downfall. It's already been translated into English and words substituted or as close as possible to the original language of the text. For example the quoran is an Arabic text but when translated into English loses some of the content and meaning. A St James bible in English isn't an exact representation of its original version even by old English standards. Text can be modernised to an extent which further dilutes the original. Plus the time scales in the video are out by more than 2500 years. Abrahamic texts empower men specifically, it's patriarchal nonsense. How many prophets were women? Why send a son to save our retched souls and not a daughter? The immaculate conception! If you believe this baloney that's up to you. If you wish for the end of days fine you crack on. Written by men to empower men. Most progressive Christians have discounted Genesis as they know how stupid it is in the face of the real evidence. Christians who have adapted, have in reality shot themselves in the foot with regards credibility as the bible shouldn't really be subject to change should it.

My company phone is the J3 S7. No complaints. My personal phone is an S4 as I refuse to upgrade when it does everything I need it to. Mobile phones seem to have plateaued so an S8 to me is pointless. I'm just waiting for the next big revolution

The exact reason my 98k mile originals are being replaced with BC coilovers next Tuesday. Anti roll bar bushes too.

Welcome mate, I've also had a few Hondas The biggest plus for me getting a Z was the smooth torque from low down. Lovely V6 exhaust note. I sometimes miss the frenetic involvement of vtec but sometimes it's nice to waft along. I've also got a burble on tick over that sounds like a slight misfire. Also the other week she let me down firing on five whilst on the move. On that occasion I had failed to mask off the headlight properly with the bonnet open and had accidentally sprayed headlight restorer into the intake. It had bypassed the rather dirty HKS filter and been sucked in coating the pipe. A clean up and new filter and it's been OK since but I still suspect a dodgy coil pack so will probably replace them all anyway. My handbrake was useless originally but I've adjusted it and roughed up the shoes a little with wet and dry and it's been great for 12 months now. Great cars all round, a bit lardy but superb all rounder.

Caught this story on the news this morning. Volvo to no longer produce purely ICE cars from 2019 and will only offer EV and hybrids.

Science is on a mission to discover the truth, yes it corrects itself until the evidence or truth is irrefutable and proven. That's the beauty of reality versus fantasy, it's honest and progressive/adaptable. Religion is stuck in one gear, people who believe are belittling of any fact that contradicts thier faith and they favour that ignorance even if confronted with an irrefutable fact. It's nothing short of infantile thinking. It's a denial of the progress of humankind. It's self destructive and in the main a quest for immortality after they die based on atoning for sins not actually committed. It's crazy and bar a few cults globally essentially a death cult. The very act of trying to modernise the business of religion does no more than contradict itself, leading to division within certain faiths as the followers of the old ways clash with more progressive members. It's absolute cobblers and regardless of whether your an educated believer or a dunce needing a religion makes the only known life you have here less fulfilling than someone with an open mind.

Homosapiens have always worshipped something, there have been countless deities/beliefs since our inception. Ironically those found in the natural world and worshipped by early man are the most legit e.g. the Sun. Without the Sun we wouldn't exist and consider the north American Indians who looked towards nature for the divine. They were nothing short of perfect guardians for the environment because of it. It's only when we turned to deities in the image of ourselves that things really screwed up. The Islamic texts are around 1600 years old and correct a fair few mistakes of its forebear. Why, well because the time of its inception human discovery/knowledge had advanced.

Age old question, if creationism were true then non existence would precede the creator thus begging the question who creates the creator. The key to our existence is water, not a substance that existed on the earth during its formation. Did ice comets laden with bacteria from elsewhere seed the earth, it's possible. Who knows. Current theorists are now saying the universe is multilayered and multidimensional. String theory is an explanation but they are working on it as one possibility as it connects mathematically. Our current universe emerged from a single point in this dimensional plain. It may have been spawned from another dimension or a result of a previous universe collapsing in on itself. The natural world works in cycles, something is born, it lives, it dies, it gets recycled. Why not a universe. Say for example the guardians of a previous universe or those in a dying universe are able to preserve life into the next one etc. Are they the creators of us, we'll in a way they are but only in so much as they are passing life on. Multi faceted dimensions may indeed be infinite and have no beginning at all, a concept hard to comprehend but can't be discounted. Let's not forget the abrahemic faiths are a very recent doctrine written centuries after the supposed existence of its characters. The Roman emporer Constantine wanted social cohesion and to rid the empire of paganistic ritual. Monotheism was born. It's not divine at all but the work of paid scribes in an attempt at social cohesion. A very successful one in the empire at that. This is why Christian festivals relate to paganistic ones on the calender. It helped the transition to monotheism in the empire. There is no single god, just an evolution of worship from gods. It all stems from one place and didn't reach other continents for centuries after once explorers started branching out. It was also the faith of the most technically advanced nations at the time. It's a complete fop. The reality of our existence I'm sure is far more exotic than the get out of jail ignorant explanation believers tout.

Most believers I know of the abrahemic rooted faiths have written off the old testament as they have realised it's a total work of incredulous chuff.Couple this to the real wonderment of our perceived reality and the millions of years (not thousands) it's taken to get here and an enlightened mind can only draw one conclusion. The way some belief systems have tried to adapt also lends itself to the myth, yes there are some die hard individuals out there especially proponents of the later versions of the line and one who's global footprint is increasing. This is very sad but understandable to a point based on the socio economic and cultural upbringing of such people. And yet secularism and open mindedness is also on the increase, I take comfort from this. There are seeds of hope for humanity but they need nurturing. If they don't grow and flourish I fear we are the professors of our own doom, weighed down by the baggage of a long lost generation seeking social cohesion at a time when it was needed. It's time to stop crawling on the floor and take our first steps towards true enlightenment, empathy for others pre dates any religious doctrine and isn't the consequence of it. Live your lives, your very lucky to be doing so. Don't waste it shackled to the ramblings of men gone by.

Total b*****ks. There you go, easy Also as a point of note and being less polite about it, religions are nothing but cranial poison. Although I have no issue if you believe in the sky daddy, I'm afraid I will exercise my freedom of speech and highlight my mistrust in those who base their lives around something that doesn't exist. Thankfully most believers are otherwise sane, but some do have a tendency to self prophesise disaster.

My only bugbear with the RS is I prefer the optional seats but can't lower them enough. I'm sure there is probably a fix by now with a revised base. The golf is a better car to sit in but visually looks bland.

Indeed the new CTR is awful, they pushed the boundary with the last one!

Errm I had an Atari with a light gun Then a Sinclair ZX spectrum followed by a Commodore 64. Then I started working for a living and left the toys behind. My little brother had a Megadrive and would badger me tirelessly to help him collect gold rings, oh joy. When he did aquire a Nintendo I did secretly enjoy Mario Kart battle mode -
What do the Germans do better exactly? Bland anodyne Audi dash aside which is to be fair put together nicely has anyone wiggled the vents on a Merc recently. Crap quality. I don't like the front end of this or the wing and the price tag is mad. You could buy a Tesla and a weekend sports car for that.
