  1. Just sold mine, how's the rear subframe look? Most have had reinforcement done but worth checking.
  2. Cheers for the input guys, I will be in touch at the end of the week.
  3. Bush looks like it's pressed in from factory. Can they be removed with a standard press. What option would you recommend?
  4. My n/s compression arm bush is shot which I understand is a common issue. I have managed to source a genuine item for 280 but have seen a pair on ebay for 167. The ones on ebay are advertised as genuine and not Chinese copies and come with a 12 month warranty. Anyone else sourced them from eBay? I could replace one but would rather do both sides at once. The knocking is bad over bumps at low speed but due to work commitment s I can't get it done until next month. Hopefully I won't do much damage.
  5. The M3 was really quick, a skoda vrs is only hot hatch quick. If I had wanted speed I would have kept the BMW. The 350z feels high end hot hatch quick but also feels and looks like a proper drivers car. It's way fast enough for British roads and tbh who cares about a few tenths here and there. I'm a driving enthusiast not a boy racer. The person in the VAG box can overtake for all I care
  6. I need to slightly raise the height of the dipped xenons. They only need to go up a fraction, is there a way to do this please?
  7. Already have a mild case of Zeditis, looking to upgrade the interior and widen the stance a little.Yeah the FRP was a gem,441 of 500 and one of only 80 fitted with LSD from the factory. The only thing I miss about the M3 thus far is the space lol.
  8. Last time I had a Milltek was years ago on this:
  9. Well I've got her home and attempted to clean it up better than the dealer. Noticed I have a nice miltek system on it.I thought it was stock when I bought it. Im being gentle with it to run in the new discs and pads. Two things to sort, firstly the nearside is knocking ever so slightly over low speed bumps and secondly the naff interior plastics need sorting. Otherwise I'm very happy with it.
  10. Even at my age patience isn't my strong point if I'm waiting for a new toy. To be fair the dealer has been great and unbelievably honest. The waiting means 12 months MOT, various other bits such as new discs and pads, some bushes, drop links and new tyres. Not been easy though The worst thing is having to drive the car your trading in every day hoping it doesn't get damaged or go wrong.
  11. My speed freak mates think I'm mad for trading in the M3 and getting a Z.On the contrary, the Z drives beautifully whereas the M3 was a blunt force thug.As I get older and my reaction times slow down priorities change.I don't care what anyone says a car that gets to 60mph in under 6 seconds is quick enough for me
  12. Excellent choice, lovely chassis dynamic on those.
  13. Your list of previous cars is scarily similar to mine, hello from Basingstoke
  14. Definately tomorrow It required new drop links and front discs and pads.M3 was good but not as fun to drive.
  15. I was led to believe Audi has recently taken the tailgating title from BMW
  16. Let the high garage bills commence (only joking the 335d is a solid car), I'm coming the other way from bmw to nissan.Lovely looking car mate.
  17. I had a 330ci for a year, it drove ok and never suffered any major issues. Interesting to see the viewpoint a mondeo doesn't come close to a 3 series, the only area the mondy fails in is build quality. The chassis dynamics of a mondy surpass the bmw any day being a sure footed all weather front wheel driver.
  18. Avoid E46 M3s in that price range, they will probably need a few thousand more spent on them.
  19. This only happens when the car is driven in rain the op said Ahh yes lol, silly me.
