Ironically the left hand n/s section is quiet, just the side with the led rattles.Also I still have two weeks of bannana arm ball joint knock to tolerate until it goes in to be fixed which rates higher on the annoying list hopefully the wheel won't fall off before then.

The strip of trim housing the NATS led light at the base of the windscreen is rattling. Any suggestions please

Raised in the 70s listening to contemporary stuff and my old man's 50s and 60s stuff. Came of age in the 80s and responsible in the 90s. Varied tastes I guess.

Basingstoke here, I would be up for a meet but only mid November as my compression arm needs changing and the ball joint is banging more than a two bit whore at the moment . It's going in on the 7th to be sorted.With previous car clubs the fave meeting points were the services on the M27 or Winnal Tesco just off the M3 at Winchester, just an idea.

To be fair it's the first time I had filled the tank right up since getting the car so it didn't slosh before today. The fuel pump noise I've had before on other cars and doesn't really concern me.

I appear to have a noisy fuel pump and I can also hear the fuel sloshing around in the tank. I assume this is fairly normal in the 350 due to the lack of sound insulation. I can also hear road water swishing around the rear arches .

I did this at Thruxton some years back. Excellent fun.

I swapped my M3 for a Z at a dealer, I certainly don't regret it. GLWTS.

Well my Z came with a new set of Avon zz3 tyres fitted. My plan was to change them next month for something else. However I've been very impressed with them in this awful wet weather so the money is going on other mods instead .

Focus ST would be my choice. Owned one and loved it. MPS also a good shout and related to the ST underneath so drive just as well.

From the third line of the very first post; "the rear sub-frame has already been done by BMW " Apologies yes I saw that, my question was "how does it look". Just because it's been done it doesn't mean it's in good order, some repairs are only done by the injection of resin in the cavities aka BMW and some dealers are far from competent . These sometimes don't hold and I would hate to think the stresses of track work could lead the OP into trouble.
