  1. Posted in regional meets south central for suggestions on a location
  2. It will probably be raining so any suggestions welcome.
  3. That's a shame mate have a good celebration. As the weather improves we can sort a meet out. I'm still up to meet up with any owners in the area this Saturday.
  4. I've always been a huge focus fan and owned a Mk1 RS. I have driven a few Mk2s and I have to say looks aside I'd have one no problem. The revo knuckles don't eliminate the torque steer entirely but it's damn good. A very forgiving front drive chassis and they sound nice.Regardless of other opinions I think Ford make some of the very best front drivers out there for chassis feel and grip.
  5. Tonight 01st Feb I've seen seven 350s in Basingstoke including a white one. Have I missed out on a meet or something?
  6. Is it a smaller diameter than the OEM wheel? This wouldn't help due to simple physics. Highly unlikely changing a wheel would affect any mechanism. Put the original wheel back on to rule out mechanical/electrical failure just in case.
  7. I swear I asked Josh to let me know if he ever thought of selling the car to let me know!!! Just kidding mate you now own the best Z I've ever seen in the flesh, I'm not bitter Enjoy
  8. Haha I'm not driving all the way back there unless I have to lol plus I'm working all week.
  9. I reckon it's an air lock. Also my rad cap was weeping coolant so I've put a spare one on just rule it out. Coolant level has remained constant but ideally I need to build up the pressure slightly and try the bleed screw as you say. I'm always paranoid about scalding myself so I will probably let the stealer do it next week
  10. Everything with the car is superb after my trip to HDEV aside from my fans blowing cold air only when stationary and resuming normal service heat wise when on the move. I'm thinking it may be an air lock even though it was bled twice when the coolant was changed. This will be my first port of call but any other input on possible causes would be appreciated.
  11. Slap bang in the middle for me 42. I've owned better cars but many much much worse
  12. As for the NSX, awesome cars and my biggest regret was selling it. The car I sold is now worth 20k more than I received for it!!
  13. Run round in your van a bit longer and get the GTR mate.
  14. The RS is a good car mate, go test drive one. I've always been a massive ford fan though so I'm biased
  15. It's actually an 04 DE fellas. Now I've always taken dyno results with a pinch of salt and do here. However a gain of 15bhp with only a Miltek and HFCs isn't in dispute. Whether or not the dyno is accurate can be disputed. My car has always pulled nicely has a good history and never uses oil in between services so it's a pretty solid lump. I only had it mapped because I wanted to turn off the post Cat sensors that kept triggering the CEL. I will now probably get a plenum spacer and air box mod which might lift it past 300bhp on that particular dyno. The other benefit of the map was the deletion of throttle retardation to make it feel linear and akin to an old style cable operated one. The speed limiter has also been deleted but I'm unlikely to test that particular feature I had a P3 service done beforehand which probably helped and had already fitted new OEM pre Cat sensors prior to attending. I was expecting about 260bhp on a 12 year old 89k mile car tbh, we were all surprised by the results to be fair.
  16. Looking good on the blue.
  17. Only took me a year to get round to it Hodaka I just wanted to eliminate the CEL coming on after fitting my HFCs hence no plenum spacer today. However after seeing the results I will be getting this done. The main improvement is the way it drives especially throttle response which now feels like a traditional cable throttle would. The car was running lean but now the graph runs almost horizontal on fuelling.
  18. Well as far as I know it's now just dyno time when I add mods.
  19. Well I'm chuffed, not only does she drive beautifully now I also found out I have a good car. Now I've not had the plenum spacer done but I do have Berks and a Miltek. The car ran 281 before the map running lean and 295 after which astonished me tbh. Air box and plenum should push it over 300 so that's the next job.
  20. P3 service and a map today. Car has Berk cats and a Miltek only. It's a 2004 DE that made 281bhp pre map and unbelievably 295bhp after. I've not even had a plenum spacer or air box work done yet!
  21. I don't know, put some normal facelift headlights on it and leave them clear and I think it looks pretty good.
  22. Post a pic once they are on the car mate.
