  1. It's not as bad a job to do the gallery gaskets on a 350 compared to a 70. Might be something to get done for peace of mind though. At least you can check your oil level easier now with a decently placed dipstick
  2. I'm working that day.I can only do the weekend before.
  3. Keep an eye on the oil pressure
  4. Otherwise it's over fuelling or leaking somewhere. Leaks in most cases are obvious but the ecu over fuelling due to receiving dodgy info via a sensor is less obvious. Strange you have no cel on if it's over fuelling though.
  5. Are you putting a similar amount in when fuelling up. In my case it was a faulty fuel gauge as when I fuelled up from a quarter of a tank it only took about £30 to brim again. Recently the gauge played up again only displaying three quarters after brimming. My intention was to take out the sensors and clean but it's now ok again.
  6. For a premium and expensive manufacturer I think these issues are woeful. Would it stop me buying one, hell no!! I would rate the Cayman as one of the best creature comfort drivers cars I have ever driven.
  7. My lowly 2004 DE made 281 before mods on the Uprev map, after Miltek, Berks, plenum spacer, 06 air box and new plugs and service made 306. That was on 87k miles. It uses no oil between services either Facelift lights all round now on and the list of things I want to do is still as long as my arm Addictive cars to modify and loads of parts available to satiate that.
  8. 10th 11th 12th March is the only weekend I have free.
  9. What about somewhere in Reading this coming weekend? Or even Friday evening.
  10. I clayed her today and treated the seats to some conditioner.
  11. I used this video many times before the Uprev
  12. My DE went from 281 to 306 and still needs another session with the new plenum spacer. Not bad at all gains wise. Good strong and we'll looked after engine. Regardless of this its the noticeable improvement in drivability that really counts.
  13. Valy it was the first time I've seen the Rocket Bunny kit up close. I thought it looked cool mate, loved the wheels too.
  14. Another productive day at Hdev with a service and new W brace fitted. Also nice to put a few faces to sigs on here as there was a group buy mapping day on.
  15. The mundane nature of our relationship this year was highlighted by the fact we both got each other exactly the same cards! I mean what are the odds of that? I suppose anything is possible if given enough time, in our case 20 years
  16. I had an AP2 and ran it from 86k miles to 98k. All mine ever needed was tyres and a pair of rear calipers otherwise no issues at all aside from using a bit of oil. My only gripe was the digi speedo, but the rev lights noise and poise more than made up for it. In comparison to my Z the S2k was more lively in the wet too. I'm a massssive vtec fan and owned a raft of fast Hondas. By far the most reliable cars I've owned. Oh and ssshhh don't tell anyone but I preferred the way the S2k drove over the NSX, sacrilege I know.
  17. Haha the reference to the bonnet was the first clue
  18. I'm just down the road in Boringstoke
  19. That's got an aftermarket wheels and exhaust. They call it Honditis
  20. Welcome from down south, I have family in Newmacher and know your area well. Enjoy.
  21. I felt similar when the Hindhead tunnel opened
  22. Is it the bit that goes on the underside of the door. I always catch mine when drying the underside of the doors after a wash.
  23. The only major plus of the HR for me was the position of the dipstick The interior of the facelifted cars isn't really that much better either, some faux silver around the twist knobs and better looking door cards, yeah great! It certainly wasn't enough for me to stump up the extra cash needed at the time. The money saved has gone into making the DE I bought instead a nicer car through mods. I will always buy on condition, dealers as stated will always have a mark up. Mind you at that price I would want a much better warranty included.
