  1. Yes on my TT kit I will reroute them into downpipes. I have custom made exhaust system of Invidia Gemini. 3" pipes so I think there will be no downgrade in performance. And buddy with this mid mount kit is planning to move them in separate muffler. They are just to loud. It was cool in beginning plus outside of the car the noise is even OK but inside the sound is so resonated I don't know how to explain. And start getting on nervs after a while. Specially if you like to hear engine, muffler and all and than once they (screamers) open they spoil all Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  2. Friendly advice for screamer pipes, avoid them! They are cool first few runs. But later on just PITA. They sound bit better from outside of the car but inside is disaster. A buddy who has this mid mount is going to make a small muffler for them, and me as well I'm going to divert them into exhaust. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  3. Lol Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk In reality, providing you havent got an underlying issuse the above is what you need to do, making the opening wider will make no difference, it wont increase the flow rate even with channelling, you need to get air onto the rad which is blocked by the bumper face or over the top of the intercooler, no aftermarket bumper increases the height of the opening, just the width, which isnt the issue. Just try some skyline ducts as you suggest and put some flexible tube pointing at the rad. Job done for a fraction of the cost of a bumper. Or even try the std air filter ducts with some hose attached: http://my350z.com/forum/body-exterior/395314-titek-350z-carbon-fiber-air-duct-matte-finish-dual-hr-titek-cf-ducts.html Yeah that's the plan to go with ducts. Anyway my OEM bumper is damaged plus I have CF airduct on left side which is quite ugle. To repair and spray this bumper will cost half price of new one. So I will take a new one, most probably this ugly one which is similar to Amuse, make this air guides to IC and rad, buy a pair of Skyline R33 N1 air ducts and go with vented hood. I think that should improve cooling together with Skunk2 radiator Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  4. I bought brand new Mishimoto radiator and fan shroud. Car was overheating from beginning. Numerous time cars was being bleed for air bubbles and blocks. Lifted with front end in the air and with expansion jar mounted on radiator. It simply didn't work. I was not a single case as even in states there where similar issues. Went back to OEM radiator and fan shroud and problem was gone. Only temperature issues I get now are after 4 laps of constant hard driving on track Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  5. Sad news for 3 gear. Same happened to a buddy when we where going to track day. Luckily we have spare gearbox and we already order repair kit for 3rd gear from CZP Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  6. I was planning to try a Skunk2 Alpha radiator. It is suitable with OEM fans. Hopefully I will have better luck with it than Mishimoto Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk

  8. Straight on point. To source V2 or V3 it cost s*** load of money. Simply which I can't afford now, plus I really enjoy driving car. In DD use that means parking on public parking lots, track days a lot of stone chips and so. Priority for now is suspension upgrade from B14 to Tein Monoflex, than brakes and once all mechanical is done I can go with aerodynamic. For now I just need to go budget route to sort this air/cooling matter. I can cope and live with little bit of fitment issues. For me is more of performance, that all od the components are running smoothly rather than looks or stance queen car. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  9. This was my plan on bumper Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  10. It was summer time 😂 Unfortunately I haven't had chance to drive car at colder temperatures. This was from this summer. Also I was planning to check Skunk radiator. I found some that is suitable with OEM fans but larger than stock Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  11. Intercooler is magnificent. It is still quite priced as second hand. Intake temperatures are quite low. I think around 35/40 degrees. I need to check logs for exact figures. Will post once I check. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  12. Sure thanks. I'm still in progress of getting on infos bits and pieces. Plan is also to go with vented hood to move excess heat from engine bay. How I was looking/thinking is that a lot of air is wasted which is coming from front bumper. Either escaping to bottom or dispersing on sides. Like this I would force it over radiator and than onto engine Also we are planning to cover cars bottom with aluminum sheat. All the way from front to end and making a proper difuser on rear end. A lot of templates and all. We have a long winter ahead of us to realise all this Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  13. I was thinking as well it is Amuse Vestito style but talking with guy he told me that they took Corvette for inspiration and produced this style. As far as cooling no more issues. At least not in every day use and Street Race events. Only issue was on track day, where after 4 laps I would get water temp around 108 °C where I need to cool down a car for 1 lap and go again. I have Oem bumper up with Ings lip but... I need function over fashion. Greddy twin turbo is coming with a huge front mount Intercooler which ic blocking air to radiator. Plus air is same like water it is taking the easiest route and way out. I really want to avoid any cutting. The last option is to add 2 air ducts like on R32/33 GTR. So plan was to find a bumper basically which has larger intake hole at front, which is made from ABS plastic not from fiber as I always tend to stuck somewhere on speed bumps or going to underground garages so I need something flexible. After I find bumper I would fabricate "air guides/routes" to force air straight on intercooler to prevent dispersing it away Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  14. Anyway not the most beautiful bumper out there but... It's from ABS plastic which is flexible and durable. Plan is to produce an aluminum scoop in front to direct the air straight onto Intercooler and radiator to avoid dispersion along side of engine bay Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  15. Found this in Germany is like copy of Corrvete bumper Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  16. One more bumper that has entered into consideration. Made by abs plastic Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  17. Strange that you should say that: I now run circa 700 bhp and similar torque and I still run stock OEM fan motors and shroud. However for a complete cheap fix for standard car the Mishimoto is the way to go. I have read somewhere as well that OEM have bigger airflow. Sure Mishimoto are cheaper so for non modified engine I wouldn't mind having them up Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  18. If you can get OEM fans stick with them. They have better cooling capacity than Mishimoto one's. If you don't mind fabricating and modifing try SPAL fans. Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  19. Than just go turbo and no problems with those buggers https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=sXjlRYPMsgA Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  20. Unfortunately stock Zed isn't a quick car on accelerations. Plus these day a lot of turbo hot hatches around that can outpace Zed in straight line Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  21. Plus airbox location is not much exposed to air. I have a twin turbo and turbines are way back of a engine but still amount of heat that is produced and is traped under bonnnet is huge Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  22. It can be done but you need to consider heat effect under thr bonnet. Vq35de is by itself producing a lot of heat so imagine turbine and pipes under bonnet Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  23. You might want to chech on FB page from Boosted Performance to get an idea on mid mount kits. Single scroll and twin scroll Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  24. How it looks on spedometer https://www.youtube.com/shared?ci=sXjlRYPMsgA And few pictures from bottom Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
  25. First off your going to run into major problems trying to run a single turbo on a V motor, you cant just run a turbo on one side, therefore if your intending to try and run one off both manifolds the only sensible way is to run it rear mount. And i reckon twin scroll is not an option? Or single Sent from my SM-G850F using Tapatalk
