  1. Sods law ey, but if it were black I'd have probably kept it on! They fit over/in front of the existing grill (not a replacement) and it will depend if your 06 is a facelift bumper or not. Yes that's right, screws to existing grill so can be removed too. Update... I have a box! Postage will be £6.29. I'll offer via PM in order of messages on here.
  2. When I sold mine I just cut up a large cardboard box and folded the halves over the Zunsport grille. I then used loads of tape to hold it all together. Arrived in one piece for my buyer. I'll have a butchers tomorrow !
  3. Going to keep my eyes peeled at work for a suitable box, or one that I can trim down; just thought I'd try as collection only initially incase there is anyone close by who's interested
  4. Zunsport Grille, chrome finish, for Pre-Facelift. This version does not have the hole for the towing eye. Comes with screws. Used but in great condition. Problem I have with this is packaging, as it could easily be damaged. So offering as collection only currently. £35 cash (Kingsbury, Tamworth, B78)
  5. OEM Gear Knob £15 collected or £19 delivered. Payment by cash, PAYM, or PayPal gift.
  6. Don't suppose there is much of a demand for these but ideally I need them gone as I don't have a lot of space. They would have been removed at around 35,000 miles. £FREE collected or £10 delivered. Payment by cash, PAYM, or PayPal gift.
  7. Sale is for 1x 350z Coupe boot lid spring / popper. Cover removed so you can see condition of the spring. Has the rubber cap on the end (these are often missing) but could do with a dab of glue to hold it on securely. If you want to give it a bit more 'umph', a free washer is included! I bought two of these for £30 but only needed one so selling this for £15 + £2.80 2nd class post or £3.30 1st class post. Payment via Paypal gift, PAYM, or cash if collecting.
  8. Cheers! Yep, clearly the breaker didn't know their true value Thanks, those two photos are the wrong way around. I switched back to the original alloys when I waxed it. I'll be get the Dyna's refurbished at some point. Yep Nismo S-tune, I bought it off a member on here (mouthwash) well over a year ago. I saw it for sale and knew how they are like hens teeth so I bought it ready for when I eventually got a 350. I know people have different tastes but in my opinion it sounds perfect, lovely deep V6 rumble, no rasp, no drone...just music to the ears haha. Hi mate yep haha got round to it. No no no it's the other way around you need to do the work first and make the mistakes then I can copy you

    Boot spring

Thanks both but already managed to get hold of one ! Think you've sold them anyway now by the looks of it I see you got one sorted This can be locked now - cheers!
  10. Thanks Karl. You should, it's pretty easy and made light work of applying. Still a ball ache removing the polish though ha!
  11. I managed to fend off Zeditus for about 10 years by not actually buying one but a few months ago I finally caved and bought a 2005 350z GT Azure, so I've decided to start a build thread for a few reasons... 1) Bit of a diary for the work I do 2) Advice / contacts, hopefully some compliments but expect difference of opinion also! 3) Get to know some of the regulars on here in case I ever go to a meet This will be a bit of a slow burner as I don't have bags of time or money but I expect to keep it for a good while so I'm not in too much of a hurry. Been reading bits and pieces of info over the years mainly on here (thanks everyone); one of the tips was not to buy the first 350 I went to see. So I did exactly that and bought the first one I saw It's done 45k, last owner of 8 years kept it garaged and just used it at the weekends, which is exactly what I'm doing - lucky enough now to have this as a second car - more of a hobby / bit of fun at the weekend during the summer months. Had to be an Azure so that ruled out the HR straight away. Anyway... let's get started.... So here she is parked up on a lovely cloudy day... Mods by previous owner: - 19" Linea Corse Dyna alloys, I think chrome finish 8.5j ET 15 on the front and 10j ET 20 on the rear - Teins-S springs - Zunsport front grill - Clear rear fog light with LED - LED sidelights - Stubby aerial! I'm a bit hopeless with taking lots of pics esp before and after's, either I forget to take before, or I just want to drive it and don't bother with the after's! First things first, get the Nismo exhaust fitted that I bought 18 months ago (early sign of Zeditus) Off with the old, on with the new... Sounds ace ! Love the V6, makes me everytime I drive it. Next I stopped off at a valet place to get the engine bay cleaned (no before photo unfortunately)... Cheap mod time... I hated the standard key, so bought the flip key for £6.99 and got the key cut for £3.75. Sadly the key did not key not fit so I took a file to it and carefully trimmed it down a little until it looked perfect to my eye. Tried again... it worked ! Boom! Found these on eBay from a breaker for £400... Annoyingly they didn't come with any bulbs as advertised but still...only £400... that's about half as what I'd have expected to buy them for. Hopefully I will get most of that £ back selling my current ones. Not fitted them yet as the lens' are quite scratched and I plan on getting the insides painted. Parked mod for the time being... Next up, with a help in hand from a mate from work (cheers James) we booked a day off to get her nice and shiny. The paint work had quite a lot of swirls and marks (see below). I was a bit nervous at machine polishing as not done this before and heard stories of how thin the paint was. Process was two bucket wash, clay bar, wash, DA compound, DA polish... and by that time it was 4pm so didn't have time to wax Lucky I have the garage. A week later I got the wax on, and also swapped back to the original wheels so that I can take the Dyna's to be refurbished. Oh...also used the Meguire's headlight restorer as the headlights were quite oxidised. Here she is looking shiny shiny... Ok that's all for this eve. Lot's more planned and decisions to make. Will try update tomorrow as I can't decide on wheel colour. Iain
  12. Is that an actual model in the sense: will it show up on a number plate check? That's really good advice though thanks. Yes; 3 engine variants (excluding special editions) 2003-2005 DE (276bhp) 2006-2007 DE RevUp (300bhp Facelift) 2007-2009 HR (313bhp Facelift + bonnet bulge) Don't know about number plate checks, perhaps it'll show bhp then you'll know which model. The standard DE will be the lower tax band 273g/km. Be guided by the photos, as a general rule the DE will be pre-facelift so orange strip on headlights, slightly rounder front bumper. DE RevUp will be facelift version - bigger headlight projectors, LED rear lights, different centre console. And HR will be same as DE RevUp but a bonnet bulge and two air filters. The main things I read about before looking where: DE - some have a notchy gearbox DE RevUp - some are oil guzzlers HR - some higher mileage have oil leak from a rear gasket If you buy a RevUp off someone on here you'd hope they'd tell you if it's an oil burner ! Else I don't know how you could check before buying. Anyway, there's many sticky posts on the forum with what to look out for when buying... have a browse, I learnt a lot!
  13. I avoided the RevUp model because of the potential oil burning issue. That would have been just my luck. Just something to ask about anyway if you look at one of those.
  14. Which is a shame because it is a lovely colour. Although the night blue replacement is also lovely. I have seen one, it was an import, defo HR as it had 2 intakes. That's the only one I've ever seen. It was on Autotrader, then Junction17 got hold of it and added a few £k.

    Boot spring

OK I got a reply from a breaker, £15 each. But... I'll pm Emperor Tuning first cheers as I'd rather support a trader on here. I'd the price is right he he.

    Boot spring

£30! Sheesh. Sorry the one on eBay is for a rag top only, didn't realise they weren't compatible until I read the description. I'm going to contact some breakers, if I find two then I'll let you know.

    Boot spring

Just went to remove mine to do the 'penny mod' and realised there is only one spring /popper thing there. One on eBay for £18 but that seems a bit much (or am I being tight?).
  18. Ha..funny.. just read though your build thread, there are a number of similarities! I've also been after a 350 since they came out, got mine about 6 weeks ago (remember the Azure with Linea Corse Dyna alloys in the newbie section?). I had a modified Fiesta too, with a home-made sub in the boot (oh dear). And one of my first mods was the flip key - which also did not fit. I had the luxury of files though so tweaked it a little until it worked. I see you got the Dyna's then, you wasted no time !! I've just swapped mine for the original touring wheels as I want to get the Linea Corse's refurbed, I was thinking hyper black but I'm not sure if they are a fraction to dark for the look I want. Thinking gloss graphite or maybe shadow chrome. I might be selling my Zunsport grill at some point if you are interested. Guessing you may be after the black version though. By the way, your handling issue... my Dyna's have Falken 452's, and going back to touring wheels didn't feel any different although I only done about 5 miles on them. There's a definite camber on the back of mine. Have you had yours lowered? What PSI are you running? Iain.
  19. They sound great, especially considering the cost of just respraying a bumper alone. Shame they are so far away from me! I can't make up my mind with what colour wheels to have. Also considered shadow chrome, but suspect I'll go with gloss graphite. Both I think look good on an Azure.
  20. Looks ace ! Love the colour of the Rays, and sits just right. How much was your respray / where did you get it done?
  21. My last Jap/performance car was an FTO, and the one before that. I had a manual GR, then a GPX. Both ace cars, only sold due to lack of use. Recently spoke to the guy who bought it off me, he said he had 4 good years out of it but the engine suddenly blew without warning. Loved the V6, one reason I wanted the 350. Here's my old GPX
