  1. Cool! I'll keep a look out. Ha same here, i got a pair of facelift lights which i'm going to get the internals painted. I'm going with a anthracite / carbon fibre theme. I think it works well on the azure.
  2. ooOo interesting, 21st is very precise ha, remap?? I'm collecting my refurbished 19" alloys on Saturday, gone for gloss anthracite, hope I made the right decision.
  3. Cheers man. Fair enough, each to their own I'm personally a fan of sequential, although I have no idea if it'll work for my headlights - especially as I do intend to keep the original indicator as well. Just an excuse to learn something new really Haha yes it would be pretty boring if we all had the same taste and the same thing, I can't even explain what I don't like about um. Probably just too modern for an old f@rt like me. Don't see why they wouldn't work though in your headlights. What about fitting them in to the bumper reflectors instead? Same here I'd like to have a play about with leds, demon eyes, halos etc....I got hold of some facelift lights but I'm too nervous to bake them in the oven!
  4. Cheers Mopedmark! Minor update; the Zunsport grille has gone so it's looking very standard right now: Also the Dyna's have now been refurbished, I will be picking them up at the weekend. Kept changing my mind on the colour even after I had dropped them off - decided on a gloss anthracite in the end. More pics to follow this weekend....
  5. Good work Nice mods looks a lot better already. The patch on the old drivers was comedy! I'll be following this thread as it's interesting to see what other people do who have bought their 350 around the same time (esp Azure lol). Did you notice any difference handling wise going from Touring alloys to the Rays?
  6. Mine seems to have a lot of marks in the clearcoat, not sure if it's the quality of the paint or if Azure just shows up marks easily. Considering taking mine to a detailer so they can get the best out of it by using a depth gauge. Might be worth you doing the same but just for the patch that you are concerned about.
  7. I'll keep an eye on this...if it goes over 15 I'll wait for the next GB, my bank account is already being depleted this month with alloy wheel refurb!
  8. I've been working on sequential indicators as well. Not sure if it'll look good in the headlights I've got, but wanted to try it out to see. Coded it up yesterday - here's a video of a test. First time doing this so pretty pleased I was thinking something very similar, either carbon dipped inserts or graphite to match my alloys, but with a chrome projector housing. Blue demon eyes...not sure if I want halos or not. Something about sequential indicators I don't like, I prefer LED indicators, nice crisp ON/OFF. Good work though! Not sure how long this 'group buy' is on for but I guess I need to make up my mind soon. Good to see peoples photos for ideas...
  9. Can't help with this but thought I'd say hello, nice to see someone local. I'm just up the road in Kingsbury. I thought about getting a paint depth gauge but not being a pro either I guess it would be one of them things I'd only really need once!
  10. Tapered, 60° I believe.

  12. Just sat down this eve to have a serious think about the Volk's (considering I've just send my alloys to be refurbished) and oh they are gone... Vultures alright!
  13. There's one for sale from a breaker on the 350z Facebook page:https://m.facebook.com/groups/11083121978?view=permalink&id=10154285450841979

  17. Hi Cob, What condition is the exhaust in? I live in birmibgham and would take it off your hands! Hello it's fine removed to fit a stainless one, it's in the for sale section if you want to see a photo. I'd not included the y-pipe as didn't have a photo but that is available too. The garage had chopped the 2 bolts holding the centre to the rear as the bolt heads had rusted. I was going to remove these and give the tips a bit if a shine at the weekend. Pm if you are still interested. Cheers, iain
  18. Standard exhaust removed from a 45k 05 GT DE 350z. In pretty good shape except for the 2x bolts have been chopped which hold the rear box pipe to the centre. I can probably sort this at buyers request. Includes 1x used gasket and I will throw in a couple of bolts. I would keep incase I ever put mine back to standard but I don't have the room to store so it has to go. Offering as collection only from Birmingham, B78. £40.
  19. Roll up roll up! Today we have on offer a pair of 350z DE de-cats / test pipes, I believe they may be Mongoose?? but don't know for sure as they came with the car when I bought it. Buyer will possibly need to purchase new gaskets, and bolts, as they do not come with any gaskets and only 4 bolts. Sale does also include adapters for O2 sensors to prevent the CEL warning. £40 collected from Tamworth, B78. Or £46 posted.
  20. I've got standard y pipe, Centre, and rear available. But collection only from Birmingham as I can't be doing with trying to pack and post! Edit: just noticed you are from Aberdeen so collection unlikely !
