  1. Bearing in mind the response to this one I would think so , perhaps in a couple of months Great thanks. Looking to book mine in for a remap with you next April so as long as it's before then
  2. Easy, just swap bits over from your current key, take a bit of time to align the buttons up. I used glue gun to fit parts. The transponder just needs to go as close to top/key as you can. I also used to bluetack to give it a bit of weight. The only trouble I had was the key wasn't cut very well so had to file it a little until it worked. Ha yes, they do look a similar design.

  4. Bump - offering these now for free if collected, or will post for £10. Need the space so they have to go unfortunately. Scrap is last option!
  5. Will there be another one? Not in a hurry for it. Ta.
  6. WOW...the finish on that is horrendous! Totally agree on the bad publicity so long as they've had the chance to rectify it. Interesting view / point. Makes sense. It seems the company I have used have been a little too cautious though IMO. Shame they were't closer... Yep! Will do!
  7. Yup! Previous owner had the brake fluid changed before I bought it 10wks / 600 miles ago. But I don't know if the clutch fluid was changed because I didn't know there were separate tanks so I never asked, and a bit embarrassingly I never checked under the plastic lid. I drove it quite enthusiastically the last couple of times so possibly heat... Today's update... it's been parked in the garage last 24hrs since I had it idling on the drive yesterday... not a drop on the floor! I'll see what happens at the weekend if I take it out. I'm hoping it's just overflowed but if it is that then why there are no marks on the paintwork (at least that I can see) remains a mystery. Thanks again
  8. Yep exactly that!... they got back to me, there reason/excuse was "We do our best not to overload the wheel bolt holes with powder coat so that once your nuts are fitted there is no issues with seating etc". I partly believe what they are saying because all 4 alloys are exactly the same and all the spokes are done well, but I don't believe they are correct - I can't imagine the holes being "overloaded" very easily. No comment on the missed bit on the hub area! They said they would "check with the lads" as to what happened to the centre caps. I will be asking them if it's common practise to bin them if they cannot find them! Honestly, it feels like any service I pay for these days I have some kind of hassle

    Oem exhaust

Ooh, no probably still a good 1.5hrs from a1m. Think I think I need to look a postage options as I could do with the space freeing up.
  10. Gotchya, yer I think on all cars I've owned so far they've been a shared reservoir. 2 is enough haha! Update: Took the cover off the brake/clutch compartment, brake fluid just sitting under max, clutch fluid over-filled and cap not quite seated (I think) voila! I thought. But then there was no trace whatsoever of any leak underneath. Checked all around the pipes, took the plastic surround off to get a better look still nothing. Before I put the cover back I removed some of the clutch fluid to bring it down to the max line. Next jacked the car. It's leaking on the the floor from the heat shield(?) area, undone the bolts to lower that - all bone dry. Must have spent a good 20 mins looking underneath but could not find the source of where the fluid has actually come from. Looked at both cylinders nothing obvious there. This time I didn't drive the car I just left it idling on the drive for a while then put it back in the garage, I've put down some newspaper and a couple of tubs to see if it does it again. So no conclusion just yet....

    Oem exhaust

I have one, but prefer collection, from Birmingham if interested.
  12. Ps... Think I was getting confused where some cars share the same reservoir between clutch and brake system.
  13. OK answered my own question from a little research and found a page with lots of photos so now your description is making a lot of sense! I'm sure I'll be able to trace it now, hoping I can at least plug the leak somehow and clean up until I get the parts and to a garage. Spoke to MITZ he's booked up until end of July!
  14. Ha, someone is clearly familiar with the 350 lol! Thanks for the info I will take a look under the bonnet first and failing that I'll Jack it up. If I can somehow contain the leak and clean up the area that will be something. Noob question, is the clutch and brake system connected to each other somehow or are they both just a similar setup, same type of fluid etc?
  15. Ugh... Not what I wanted to hear (the shameless plug is fine though ha), and didn't think of it rotting the car also. Yes it was oily, yellow, and smelt bad. I'll get the car out later and see it I can trace it. Don't know where to take it though as not any confidence in any local garage. Would I not be better off replacing with new, and braded hoses etc or is it going to cost the earth?
  16. Quickly checked this morning there is a patch of fluid under the driver footwell. I can't pop the bonnet until I get the car out of the garage to check levels. Suspect it's clutch fluid, it's lifting the paint off the garage floor (grr I only just painted it). Seems a bit if a odd place and I cannot see where it is coming from. Is it possible that the master cylinder is leaking in to footwell and dripping out from there? Will take another look later.
  17. Just to add... i'd probably not noticed the noise but i was looking for a leak. Doing a little search I think I have clutch fluid leak. When I took the car out on Saturday i noticed a dry but oily pool on the floor, light yellow, smelt bad, it was about a foot in from the driver side roughly half way along the door. I'll check the level at the weekend.
  18. Thanks chaps Yes fuel pump sounds plausible. It's not quite constant, Id say 85%, if you listen carefully it stops for a say a fraction of a second to a second or so. Thanks David might take you up on that offer, I'll see if it does the same next time I use it (which is dry weekends only!)
  19. £290 yes Looks like a trip back there on Saturday.
  20. I've not had my 350 all that long and only driven about 600 miles so far, so I'm still quite paranoid of any odd noises. I know I have the axle clicking issue as it does that now and again (even though the previous owner has rotated the axles and re-greased). Anyway I parked it in the garage as normal yesterday and could hear a faint hissing type noise. I've recorded it on my mobile... probably best listened to with headphones. Seems to be coming from around the diff area. It stopped once I switched off the engine. Didn't trying revving the engine or anything and not used it since. Here's the vid... hopefully it works http://vid1323.photobucket.com/albums/u589/cob1980/20160612_195148_zpstvlp2zy5.mp4 Any ideas? Cheers!
  21. hmm yea just seems a bit sloppy, shame cos the rest of it looks ace. Not had any done before so didn't know if I was expecting too much, my expectation was that they would look factory new! Sounds a plan. I paid on my credit card so covered there but hope it doesn't come to that.
  22. I had my alloys refurbished last week, picked them up at the weekend all looked good until I got home and fitted them I realised the centre caps were missing (they did tell me they would not do anything with them and that I should get colour matched elsewhere - but I expected them back). And also the finish is patchy around the hub area and all of the bolt holes. The rest of the wheel is done very well. See photos \/ I decided that it wasn't a big deal as it wasn't hugely noticeable and it's in areas that get very dirty, but then the more I thought about it the more I got annoyed because it's not really the point. What does everyone else think, am I expecting too much or should they have done a better job? I could get longer wheel nuts. Emailed them the photos yesterday but not had a response as yet.
  23. Ha ha is that because our 350s look almost identical now?!
  24. Got the refurbished Dyna's on today. Mixed feelings about them, pleased with how the colour because I can visualise how I want it to look when done i.e. colour coded headlights, carbon fibre kit. But honestly as it is as the moment I'm not a massive fan of the dark wheels lol! Sorry only the one photo as started to lash it down...
