  1. It's interesting these comments, the guy I bought my car off said he only used v power, he also said on a long motorway run he would get 30-32 to the gallon. The Shell in Lincoln is a bit far away so I've just been using Esso 97, I went to London at the weekend and did a fill to fill and only managed 25 and I was just cruising at 80mph on the A1 all the way there. I'm gonna run some v power and see if there's any difference but it seems related if your error code has never come back. I've just checked v power prices in Lincoln and it's less than what I'm paying for Esso so nothing to loose

Hey thanks guys it's good to know I'm doing the right thing :-) I do a lot of work for Total petrochemical refinery and my contacts once told me how many companies they supply with the same fuel that we all consider to be different, it's a real eye opener but it's clear that the higher octane is a must and thanks to everyone who has replied .
  3. Whacky will if this post annoys you mate don't reply, I'm an electrical/mechanic engineer and I'm my experience I never believe what is said on a box and always better to talk to people with better experience than mine. I also just wanna interact with people on here as I'm new.

  5. I've been using Esso 97 since I've had my Z, is this correct or a higher octane or better quality with more additives like shell ect more recommended??
  6. Hi All Just a quick note to let you know I work for one of the UKs largest manufacture of welding filler metals ie Mig,Tig,Electrodes, Brazing FCWs ect. If it can be welded we produce a filler metal to do it If any of you require any types of products like this just give me a pm Regards James
  7. Yeah this guy did a cracking job got rid off all the fine scratches and marks it had I'm well pleased with the results :-)
