  1. In my defence I'm an IT guy The local garage said at the last service they were slightly warped, but that could also have been just from a road test. How do you tell if it is pad transfer? The car is in reasonable condition but not perfect and has done 105K. I'd change the pads myself, but that's still 5-10% of what I'd sell for.
  2. Going to sell up and one of the issues with the car is that the front disks are slightly warped. The question is, do I sell as is and let the new owner upgrade to whatever they like or stick a new budget pair on? Same issue with the rear tyres. Another rear wheel car I bought had new but cheap ditch finders on the rear and I was less then impressed first time I drove it in the wet...
  3. Yes it is the Lower Oil Filter Coolant Hose so would be the coolant that emptied out. Do you know where I could buy a replacement pipe from? A quick search on line brings up nothing in the UK. This is the only one I found but in the US: https://conceptzperformance.com/nissan-oem-21306-am606-lower-oil-filter-coolant-hose-rh-nissan-350z-03-06-z33-vq35de_p_10764.php
  4. I was replacing the oil pressure sensor yesterday and noticed the oil cooler coolant pipe was weeping slightly. How dangerous could this be to drive until fixed, if the pipe failed would I loose all coolant? Can the pipe be replaced without doing a full coolant drain or patched up until I can take it to a garage?
  5. I'm pretty sure I checked that one, but it's been a few months since so will check and make sure. I may have just checked all the ones in the box in front of the battery. Thanks. Is there a separate fuse for the front and back jets?
  6. I tried swapping a load of fuses around but TBH I couldn't find anywhere that definitely said which the fuse for the front washers was.
  7. Front washer jets stopped working and seems to be the wiring. No voltage across plug when activating jets, pump works when connected directly to a battery, rear pump connected to front plumbing works. As I have no rear wiper washer jet I have it connected up so activating the rear jet sprays on to the front. Any ideas how to track this fault down? MOT is up for renewal soon and not sure if this setup will pass. I want to get it back to having auto wipe after spray anyway.
  8. WD40 worked, with a hard twist to the left first. Cheers, guys.
  9. There's definitely a bit of play in it, I've tried squirting some WD40 through whatever orifice I can find so will let that soak in. Feels more like the wrong key, don't think I ever tried it since I had it.
  10. My battery has gone flat and so the central locking won't work, but also when I put the key in the drivers side lock I can't turn it to unlock the door to open the bonnet to charge it. What can I do? Is there a way to pop the bonnet to connect a charger?
  11. Yeah, good to meet everyone and a good excuse for a little drive. Thanks for the advice on the air bag connectors too, found the passenger side one hanging off and a bit of fiddling fixed the warning light :-)
  12. As Ive long said, Christ only knows how those TVR drivers get away with it so much Quite, my Cerbera doesn't have ABS let alone TC. Certainly makes you respect the car and conditions a bit more.
  13. Cool, you can show me where the air bag connectors are to stop the flashing warning light. Tried the reset, only lasted 10 min.
  14. If anyone fancies seeing the Cerbera I can take that? Not going to have it much longer after all... I think most of you know the caravan catcher too!

  17. Thanks, yeah checking them out...
  18. Haha, yeah read about that.
  19. Thanks for the welcomes guys. I should be able to make a meet next week if a date is decided on...
  20. Yep, that's the badger, thanks mouthwash. Matt's obviously removed all the mods, but the care and attention to detail that has gone into the car still shows.
  21. Thanks guys, will give the guys from the zed shed a shout. It had an impressive collection of receipts from recent history so definitely looks well looked after recently. The previous owners name was on them, but my memory is crap so will have to wait till I pick it up...
  22. I used to work there, right opposite the tripod! Cool, they're all pretty close
