  1. Yep, that's what I saw on their website. I've registered for free there (catalogue part number look up, BluePrint Live!) and they supply quite a number of 350z parts. http://www.blueprint-adl.com/
  2. The rear pump was from Blue Print, part number ADN10316. Front pump is ADN10315, but not sure how much they cost. Halfords and EuroCarParts stock the front pump (£12ish and £8ish respectively) Not sure how popular these rear pumps are as many zed out there has rear wiper delete but I like mine and finally, it's working now!
  3. Finally, it's dark out there! Here's when I start up my engine Here's when main beams are on, the DRL controller dimmed the DRL by around 30-40% and its less harsh and can be looked directly without glaring (good for MOT) Hazard light test - as before, the switch back relay on the controller is not great. Sometimes it flashes between amber and white, sometimes just amber. A little bit annoying but I can live with it for now. I absolutely loved it. The full 6k colour temperature absolutely transformed the car to look much modern.
  4. Thanks Veeg and good to know. The problem with the snow foam gun that I'm guessing you're on about (the genuine Karcher one) is that they're never very good really. Had several in the past and the difference between them and one of the proper snow foam guns is unreal. Have a read of this if you get 5 mins spare: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/84321-what-a-difference-a-snow-foam-gun-can-make/ It was the car plan demon snow gun that I saw in Halford. It was in the till when I paid for my hose connector. But not sure if they comes with the snow foam 5ltr bottle However, it was attached directly to the 5ltr bottle! Few washes will be a handful as you'll need to carry the 5ltr bottle around (I'm assuming here as I did not inspect it in details to confirm that's how it works)
  5. Still not dark yet but I just can't wait longer, here a few snap
  6. Great job Gareth! Halfords is doing 3 for 2 on cleaning products if that helps. They have snow gun as well.
  7. Took the opportunity of good weather today to fit my DRL and replace the rear windscreen water pump. Front bumper off, but not completely. Fairly easy, just 10 x M10 bolts at the bottom (on the bottom undertray) then 3 £ M10 (each side) under the headlights. The wheel arch linings are pretty flexible so I just bend them to get to those 3 x M10 bolts. Then remove 6 plastic studs on top (I use 2 flat head screwdrivers) and pull the front bumper out. I kept the headlight washer attached as I can access my reflectors to swap them. Then remove 4 x M10 bolts to remove the headlight. Once it's off, I replaced the side light with LED, indicator with Silvertec and 6k DR2 main beam. Then using T-tap, I tap into the indicator +te wire and the side light. This is to trigger the amber DRL when indicating and the side light tapping is to dim the DRL when side lights are being switched on. These T-tap are pretty good, just crimp them on with pliers. Then a simple spade connector goes in the t-tap. Simple-ssssssss! Tested them, but first attempt wasn't successful as I've tapped into the wrong polarity Lucky I've used T-tap, I can just fix/cover it with some insulation tape. 2nd attempt was successful. Tested the in indicators, works well for the first few flashes but after 4/5 flashes, the switch back doesn't seems to work properly as it was flashing amber and white rather than just amber. I'm guessing the controller's relay timing might be a little bit off. £6 controller from Hong Kong delivered, hence not really expecting it to be perfect tbh. And it seems the dimmer is also not working but I'll need to see in the dark later tonight. Love the clear darken reflectors. Looks good even without DRL in action While I have the bumper out, I've swapped the rear windscreen wiper water pump out as well. Managed to buy one locally for £24 brand new aftermarket from AZ Motor Spares. It was a direct replacement so fits perfectly. Literally took me about 5mins to replace. But before that, I unplugged it and plug the new pump in to check before I swap them. All good, then I unplugged the rubber hose, pull the pump out (be ready to block the hole with your thumb), new pump in, connector back in, done. Can't wait for darkness now........ Hopefully it will turn out great.
  8. Hello and welcome 👋 Good luck with the hunt!
  9. That's what my colleague told me earlier when I got to my zed. Well he's talking sense obviously. Best I could find was this one on eBay but it's a little pricey: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/350Z-Parking-Only-Nissan-Metal-Car-Steel-Wall-Sign-Plaque-45x30cm-NEW-SEALED-/231511280784?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item35e725cc90 Especially as it'll probably get nicked or removed by jealous non-Zed owners. Hahaha. Looks good but........ prefer to spend ££ on Zeditus Maybe print and laminate it
  10. That's what my colleague told me earlier when I got to my zed.
  11. 1st time at work today where 3 out of 4 zeds parked together
  12. I feel for you mate. Sorry that your wheels are damaged. Hopefully you can sort it. Earlier today an idiot driver who parked next to me nearly hit my zed when he open his door to get in! Lucky I was parked far enough to avoid the wide open door. Of cause I gave the 'stare' before I enter my car.
  13. +1 on checking fuse. Try to reset by disconnecting the battery and reconnect again. I change my interior bulbs to LED last year and somehow managed to short circuit my zed where most of my interior electronics stopped working (windows, electric seat, seat heater and central locking). However by disconnecting the battery only fixed it temporarily. I ended up going to Nissan dealership for a factory reset and it all works again. So hopefully the 'spark' you mentioned temporarily screw up your BCM. Have a read here to reset interior lighting - http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/51881-interior-lighting-reset/ Let us know how you get on and good luck
  14. Loving the colour! It's looking really good even when it's not done yet! Bet it will be ridiculously great when completed
  15. I thought only me having this issue on IE. Mozilla works fine
  16. Don't have NatGeo but hopefully they are on YouTube soon. I've seen GT-R Megafactory on NatGeo, it was epic!
  17. Just spoken to Rich at Clark (very helpful) , they only stock original Nissan Rear wiper water pump and they are a little pricy for me, £50 ish delivered. They have 2nd hand ones for around £15 plus shipping. Been told that these pumps have a short life span so I guess it's not really worth buying 2nd hand. I've been driving around without a working rear water pump since my ownership from last July, guess I'll just save the money for other Zeditus needs Thanks scobie140! I bought a secondhand rear washer pump from either Clark Motorsport or zmanalex (can't remember which) around 6 months ago & it's still working fine. So I wouldn't knock a secondhand one if you do decide you want to get it fixed. After all my original one lasted 11 years and who knows how many times it got used over that time (thousands I'd guess) so my secondhand one could outlast the car for all I know. Thanks Gareth, might go for a 2nd hand one then. I'll continue to check few local part suppliers here and see if I can get any other aftermarket pump. But aftermarket pumps might not be good?

  19. Good call on Zmanalex and Clark Motorsport. Will PM them to find out more. If I don't get the pump by this weekend, at least I know where they are located. Seems easy to replace as you mention scobie140. I also just rang few local supplier here to check - GSF don't stock any, EuroCarParts only stock 1 part number and he's not sure if they are for front or rear.
  20. I'll be removing my front bumper this weekend to fit my DRL, change my DR2 to 6k and indicators with Silvertec. So since I'm doing all this, thought I change the rear water pump (suspect is faulty water pump as it doesn't make any noise when I activate the rear washer) Been searching around the forum and still not sure if I have a definite answer. 1.) it seems that both front and rear wiper water pump are side by side just behind the front bumper - Correct? Or this is only true on JDM? If not, where is the rear water pump for a UK 2004 GT model? 2.) Both water pump are same except they both have different connector? I wanted to buy a new one but can't find any rear water pump. Only found front water pump at Halfords, GSF and Eurocarparts. Anyone brought them before and where from? Many thanks in advance
