  1. I bought them Mobil 3000 X1 Formula XE from Halfords to top up every now and then (I think i got them 5Litre for £19.99 when they are on offer, its £29.99 now) . Alternatively, if you are near to Eurocarparts, Shell Helix HX7 Pro (http://www.eurocarpa...72231&0&cc5_247 ) should be OK for £19.99 (5 litre)
  2. Running on Toyo Proxes T1 Sport all corner at the moment. I quite like them to be honest, hence did considered buying them again but I would like to try something new. MPSS seems to be the best for zed, so will give it a go and see/feel how good they are.
  3. Thats terrifying haha You can get mid range tyres for not a lot more, and my MPSS were around £530 from Oponeo just over a week ago. Shop around, maybe try Falkens? Not bad for the money but not great either I'm not keen on them to be honest, maybe on a slower less powerful car. Cool, thanks mate. I'll shop around. I've only checked Tyreleader and Blackcircle so far. Will try the one you proposed. But you'll trust Jinyu? Really? Falkens have great reviews too.... I mean I'm not really keen on Jinyu. I do like my spirited driving every now and then, so would rather pay extra to avoid loosing my zed or my life. I'm pretty much set on MPSS now. Get the front first, then rear a month later.
  4. Thanks Jonny B. Let me know details once you find out.
  5. If and only if you are only 1 hour away from me. I will definitely buy them from you.

  7. Thanks for the advise Dan Might replace front with MPSS first, then rear with MPSS after a month or so
  8. Yep, I've checked Ebay. 2x in Bradford but seller wants £80 each, both has been puncture repaired Also visited a local independent tyre shop. Part worn for £40 each (Pzero) but he only has 1 in stock. He did offered me Jinyu budget tyres......brand new £65 fitted and balanced. I never heard of them before but online review seems positive --> http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Jinyu/YU61.htm Will continue to try searching for temp part worn for now. If i can sort out my ABS issue with minimum cost, I will go for MPSS all corners (£648ish with £50 fuel voucher from ATS Euromaster) but if the ABS fix going to cost me money, I'm considering Jinyu all corners for less than £260
  9. Don't thin there's any special go-to bulb, got to your local auto supply will do the trick (Eurocarparts, GSF, Halfords, etc).......Its '380' Bayonet bulb, get good ones to avoid changing twice. To change is pretty simple compared to the front, just remove 3-off covers (on top of the brake light unit), remove 3x M10 bolts (i think), then pull the unit out towards the side of your car (left or right) see pic below. I used 2 umbrella strap to make it easier to grab/pull the unit., simply slide them into the gap. Pull both in parallel to avoid breaking them studs on the unit. Once its out, unclip the harness and I think you can just turn the bulb holder to remove the holder from the unit to replace the bulb (I'm not sure of this step, as I removed the harness to replace this unit with an LED)
  10. Thanks for the offer mate, unfortunately a 'bit' too far away from me and I'm not going to Silverstone Japfest.
  11. My local garage can't pin point it to which component was faulty hence propose me to send it to Nissan specialist to check using proper Nissan OBS Consult 3 diagnostic tool. Hence I've decided to book my zed in to Lockwood and Greenwood (Manchester ) next Friday to look into this. Will report back once this is sorted so that others can be aware of this next time for future reference. A massive thank you to Alex (ZMANALEX) for his help on this matter. He's been a 'Star' for the past week trying his best to help me with this issue.
  12. As title, if anyone within Yorkshire region has a pair of front touring tyres for sale, I'll be interested to buy them from you and collect with cash Might travel a bit further if price is right. Sent my zed in to my local garage this morning to check on my ABS issue. He did not manage to solve the ABS issue (he can't pin point the issue without propose Nissan OBS Consult) but notice the front passenger side tyre, inner thread is almost border line, hence advice to replace them. Still around 4-5mm on both rears hence I'm hoping to run some part worn for a bit until the rear are near to legal limit, then swap all 4 at the same time. I'm planning to buy a part worn for the front for now so that I'm always on the legal side whist i sort out the ABS issue, which might cost me a fortune to fix. So until i know how much I need to pay, I'm not really in a position to spend £600 ish for a full set of MPSS (front and rear) Before someone kicks me, i know its not the best set up to run different tyre brand front and rear but I'm a bit skint at the moment due to moving to a new house. Hopefully this will be a temp fix so that I can still drive my zed legally to work and back, once everything settles (house and ABS issue), will then swap out all 4 with brand new MPSS. Cheers Veegee
  13. As above, Clark Motorsport for brand new or pre-loved from ZMANALEX or Emperor Tuning. All of them trader here
  14. Its a hit and miss for me. I bought 2 in the past, I have to return both to Ebay seller as they don't work for me. Not sure if it was my zed or mobile?? ELM327 OBD2 Bluetooth dongles are the 2 that i bought from EBay (£5.00 each, similar to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Mini-OBD2-ELM327-V1-5-Bluetooth-Car-Scanner-Android-Torque-Auto-Scan-Tool-OBD-II-/131753884201?hash=item1ead24ba29:g:0ukAAOSwr7ZW6R6y). My mate has an ELM327 Bluetooth too which I borrowed from him and it works on my zed and phone. I have some ABS issue with my zed recently and decided to take a punt and buy another dongle (£9.45, claimed to be the latest ELM327 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Torque-ELM-327-Bluetooth-BT-OBD2-OBDII-Car-Diagnostic-Scanner-Code-Reader-/322061669942?).........failed to work again. My phone managed to pair with the dongle, but when i launch Torque app, it just won't connect to the dongle and my ECU. Lucky my mate (looks similar to this http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Android-Torque-Car-Mini-ELM327-EXCEL-OBD2-OBDII-Bluetooth-Scanner-Code-Reader-UK-/121731877575?hash=item1c57c90ac7:g:fd4AAOSwxH1UGtYp) still has his dongle and he has now given it to me as this no longer works on his 5 series. Having said that, the dongle can only read engine DTC (ie codes starts with Pxxxx), i can't get it to read the system DTC (ie codes starts with Cxxxx). I drove my zed with potential ABS issue (ABS, Slip and ESC light lighted up) to a garage and they managed to read the Cxxxx code using Snap-On diagnostic tool. But the OBD2 dongle + Torque app says I don't have any code stored in the ECU. Maybe it's a limitation on the Torque App? Or the OBD2 dongle. I'm now considering to buy a wired handheld reader - £30ish but only downside is you can't linked it to your Android head unit to display dials
  15. Try the codes again. As mentioned, my OBD2 showed that it was the sensor. Hence that's where I started. If it wasn't that, I did think about changing the reluctor rings (abs rings) although I understand that is more of a fiddle. As mentioned, it's a process of elimination unfortunately! Start with the cheap fixes, and go from there! Yep, I've been in contact with Alex. Will reset my ECU and read fresh codes again. Hopefully it's a simple fix rather than a big costly job.
  16. Brake fluid topped up to 'Max', still have those lights lighted up after 2nd or 3rd time using the brakes. Did a simple test whilst car was stationary by restarting my zed, few pumps on the brake pedal and those lights were lighted up. Any further diagnostic that i should check? On another note, I'm hoping my OBD reader will arrive today and it will work. I'm expecting same DTC fault codes.
  17. Thanks Alex, will buy a bottle to top up tomorrow. Cheers
