  1. Not a mod but my annual service log. Engine oil and oil filter changed, this time by my local mechanic as my mates ramps are not available. Also at the same time got new front braided brake lines replaced. The pervious HEL lines were about 2 inches too long compared to a new set. The old lines were rubbing the wheel's inner diameter. Driver side is more severe, around 100 miles or less I will not have brakes anymore as they will most likely to pop as the rubbinng has wear out the outer rubber and stainless steel braiding. It was rubbing on the inner tube already. Considered lucky I don't have to find it the 'hard' way. HEL did well to replace me with a new set free of charge when I complained about the rubbing. Since I'm replacing the lines, asked my mechanic to flush the brake fluids and replace them with Pagid dot 4. Don't think I need proper high temp racing fluids as I'm only driving it steadily on road =) Mileage at oil change: 83227 Mileage since last old change: 2010 miles (a little bit OTT but we'll worth the money) Oil: Shell Professional Fully Synthetic 5w-30 Filter: Mann filter Sent from my EVA-L09 using Tapatalk
  2. NIce one, good luck your future mods and journey with your Zed.
  3. Took my zed to a dyno day 2 years ago and found that there are little to negligible difference between expensive panel filter to cheap ones. The guy at the dyno kindly did 3 runs. 1st run with used Blueprint panel filter (less than £10 and about 3000 miles or less), 2nd run with brand new HKS hybrid panel filter (around £35), 3rd run without filter (in controlled condition hence minimum concern with foreign object). Turns out, there are only about 2-3bhp between them. Blueprint was the least BHP, without filter was the best. So in terms of performance, there are not difference but i suspect HKS will have better filtration but less restrictions compared to Blueprint. Changing to other intakes will only benefit from nice intake sound when you put your foot down....and some disadvantage in BHP but i doubt you can really feel it as you are too busy enjoying the intake sound =)

  6. The OEM ones can be a bit small for shopping bags. Try alternative ones, pics here -> http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/89200-boot-cargo-net/ Or try this from Fleabay --> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/50-x-80cm-Large-Caogo-Net-Luggage-Nylon-Elastic-Mesh-Net-Universal/361925250036?_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851&_trkparms=aid%3D2220071%26algo%3DSIC.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D20140122125356%26meid%3Da5f936adc16343c8a8f08154d49d9c28%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D282112165732 This is about 5cm bigger than mine.....should be OK for shopping bags......this is from HongKong, hence expect up to 1 month in delivery....£6.36 worth a try

  12. Hi Greg, you have a PM =)
  13. Good luck with the sale Stu!! Surely someone will buy this from you at £7k, this is an absolute bargain with all the mods and care given to this zed.
  14. If you are going down the re-spray route, i know 2 places in Hudds that do that for around £200 or less. One's behind Charlie Brown on Manchester Road, one's behind the demolished Sports Centre. Edit: Just remembered that the guy quoted me £130 for full front bumper about 2 years ago.
  15. Rather than using butter knife as suggested in the link given, use these --> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/UK-5-Piece-GM-Car-Door-Plastic-Trim-Panel-Dash-Installation-Removal-Pry-Tool-Kit-/222413756764?hash=item33c8e4995c:g:o-UAAOSwfVpYqC24 I got a set and they are really handy and never left a mark on my zed.
