But did you all come to the conclusion, eventually, that you preferred the 370?I hope so! Just went out for a quick blast in the 350, she just sounds awesome. Maybe the Invidia will enhance the driving experience Quite why Nissan deemed such a quiet exhaust on the 370 would OK is one of those mysteries. So many better aftermarket options out there now, but I never tired of hearing the Stillen on the 370 and with the synchro-rev. 370 was the best car I have enjoyed to date and would have another in a heartbeat if purse strings and a decent sized garage allowed What made you choose the Stillen over the Invidia?

That is it In a nutshell! I get in the 350Z and it feels alive and so responsive and quick, the reaction to the lightest of throttle movements gets it shooting forward with no effort, whereas I just cannot get the same feeling from the throttle response on the 370Z, but then I look down at the speedo and suddenly realise the real speed, it just feels so different. Much nicer place to be though. Unfortunately the one wheel refurbished by Nissan has a got a totally different shade, so popped into South West Wheels, he reckons you cannot really refurbish one and get the same shade, you need to do the two on the same side. Nissan though have agreed for him to redo all 4! Result. Also there is a slight wear on the rubber seal at the rear top of the window where it drops for opening, seems to be a common fault, so a new seal and window adjustment is also being done. Apart from that she is beautiful, an incredible colour.

Just did a run to the coast, a totally different experience to the 350Z, more mature, a much nicer place to be and far quicker, but actually doesn't feel it! The 350 felt much more chuckable and maybe more at home on the tight Devon roads, whilst on the more open A roads the 370 just excels. I think I am going to do a detailed drivers impression of the two models over the next month. The 350 doesn't leave until next week so have still have a play.....sorry PEEBEE, will take care of her promise

Well, Rosie finally arrived last night by trailer from Nissan, after a P3 service, spark plug change and the rear wheel being refurbished. The drive home from rendevue point was awesome and we are going for a run to the coast tonight. A couple of pictures till I can get some nice ones for the gallery.

Won't a stubby fit and work on the 370 roadster? -
Car now sold to a new very caring owner, who will become an active forum member. Mods please lock thread.

Not bad advice!

Hopefully sold to someone who is going to really look after her and become a forum member.

We have also had a long think about this, and in reality know that we will not really drive both, also the 370Z will be the fourth car here and we have two in Spain including a 1968 Merc pagoda. So regretfully I think we will sell the 350Z Crazy, so much has gone into her to keep her in top condition, but she will fetch so little.
-
Dave, they are a lovely place to be in comparison to the 350, but I am going to keep both as they are so different in driving characteristics and the 350 seems to command such little money, may as well just leave her in the garage!
-
not by then  I reckon you lost about 3,000 miles in Wales when we were behind you
-
As long as it's only Mandy that drives it, she needs reving
-
Still may do, Nigel, its just the space. Rob

Piccys will be loaded Monday or Tuesday promise

Hi davedutch, yep we will be in Wales. It was a difficult decision, we prefer some things with the 350 and some with the 370. The 350 still feels more of a sports car, more responsive, but maybe that is just me being used to her. The 370 is clearly a nicer place to be in and with driving up and down to Spain in our 60's we just wanted that little bit more comfort. Gutted to see the 350 go though, and we may still decide to keep her. How were the Spanish roads, did you get to the gorge?

Thanks Will370Z, I have already budgeted for the Invidia, listening to a couple of the guys cars on our Dartmoor run last Sunday with then on, it transforms the car. Still doesn't sound as good as my 350Z with the Fujitsubo Titanium on though

I did say I will post piccys when she arrives Monday!!!!

With a heavy heart, we have decided that it is time to upgrade to a 370Z. Getting into our 60's and driving up and down to Spain for the winter, we feel we wanted the extra creature comforts of the 370 over the slight rawness of the 350. We want the car to either go to someone who is a forum member or future member, otherwise we may just keep her for us to drive occasionally. Hopefully sold to someone who is going to really look after her and become a forum member.

Well, I have just succumbed to another dose of Zeditis! I have taken the plunge and purchased a 60 plate, low mileage, Black Rose roadster auto. Whilst the 350Z Roadster has given us so much pleasure, introduced us to great friends, I just felt as we were getting into our 60's I had to tick another box of cars I want to own. The 350Z has been a wonderful car, so much character, for us better than any of the 3 Porsches I have owned and the TT, I am just addicted to that V6 as long as it has an aftermarket exhaust However as we are driving up and down to Spain and getting that bit older, the extra creature comforts of the 370 will make up for the rawness and driving feel we get from the 350. The Nissan dealer, is giving her a P3 service, brake fluid and plug change and putting on a 36 month extended warranty, all for several grand less than other cars were being advertised for at certain specialists. All in a super deal that I just could not turn down. Hopefully I will be picking her up next Monday so will load up some photos then. Time then for a last few runs in the 350Z before a reluctant sale with very heavy heart as she is a real part of the family.

Oh! That does not look anywhere as good as ZZZebady's...sorry if that is a real negative, but makes me think about having mine done now!
