Just my two pence, I was in the same situation as u and read loads and loads, Kumho ku39s I had on other cars and was gonna go with them but I am really glad I did not as I went with Goodyear f1s and can not rate them highly enough! Yeah there dearer than some u mentioned but trust me there a great tyre on the 350z. I am happy I spent a bit more!

Seems a disc skimming has done the trick!!!! They fitted new pads, skimmed the mating faces and the discs also removed all corrosion from areas and I am glad to say I am judder free! While that was being done I had my Goodyear f1 asymmetric 2 tyres fitted to the rays wheels I refurbished and then had them put on! Ready for my French road trip on Sunday now! Been a long and stressful week so far hope that's it car wise!! Will say if anyone in Hampshire is suffering with judder from brakes I can recommend hutfields of botley to skim brakes and at £40 a disc there's a big saving on new discs!!
-
Yeah hopefully made a good call going for the f1s! Hope they help cause I am learning to drift with the current tyres!!! And not by choice!!!!

right more bad news!! picked car up and now slight pulsing from the front brakes has turned into a big shake/vibration under use!they fitted new banana arm bushes(superpro),seems odd its now MUCH worse than when I left the car with them!. spoke to Horsham as soon as I got home and want £300 more to do front discs that's 20% off gesture of goodwilli thought about it over last night and I don't have the time to go up there before my trip as I leave sunday. have gone to a local disc skimmer I found and am having front discs skimmed plus new pads for £150,hope this sorts problem because if not I WILL be asking the chaps to sort it at Horsham. i am more than unhappy with the situation. with me luck!

went round to local tyre place this morning, went for goodyear f1 asymmetric 2 in the end! to be fitted on Thursday to my refurbished rays, that I did! £605 all in not too bad price wise. car back from Horsham this Monday(large bill!!!), so set for Europe road trip on sunday. thanks too all for your input!!!!!!
-
As per title car is currently with the boys at Horsham developments in for a p3 plus all fluids, diff & gearbox oils, aux belts, plugs. Have a issue at lower speeds with a pulsing feeling when braking, its not through the pedal its slight but I can feel it in the car, recent front discs so can't see it would be warped discs? Anyway I am sure there sort it,maybe unclean surface before discs were fitted? While doing service they said the compression bushing on the banana arms are worn/perished so doing both sides with uprated super pro items,£400!!!! Gulp!! Rear discs need doing and pads all-round at 50% life left gonna leave them and do myself as to keep costs down a bit! Gonna hopefully have car back Monday if the can get bushes done Monday! Also going to rob a bank to pay bill but don't tell anyone!!

best&best value European breakdown cover?
big si 1976 replied to big si 1976's topic in 350Z General
Service at Horsham on Friday!,leave on Sunday 7th September! I am only after peoples opinions that have used European breakdown. Green flag seem the best value as they offer same terms/cover as as & RAC but half the price! But have time so any other ideas out there on who to use?? -
As per title I need to get some cover for my trip round France! I have used a few companies in the past but wondering who people recommend. Last year while in the middle of the Pyrenees my brothers e46 m3 packed up! Got taken to local ish garage 3 days later we were back underway!! So people, who have u used and would u use again? After single trip cover Inc repatriation & roadside assistance inclusive.

stevoD has got the point exactly right!!!!!!!!!!!!! I do know a bit about tyres, but not on the z! that's why I asked about the three tyres in post yes cost is a BIG factor when chosen but like some say u get what u pay for! I know the people who run mpss rave about them and there the best thing since sliced bread,BUT I was not asking about them! thanks to all who actually read my post in full and gave there views on the tyres I asked about!! like I said kumhos r winning at the mo cause of the cost and I have had them on past cars and was happy with them after all that's what is important if U are happy. are the f1s that much better than the k39s, I don't know? I am not too sure now about the falkens, so f1 and le sport ku39 views only! I am sorry to open another tyre tread (CAN OF WORMS!)
-
Thanks for your views! I am kinda leaning towards the kumho as there £347 delivered and then £14 each to fit at local tyre fitter(Whiteley tyre shop) I have used them for a few years now, they want £503 all in for the kumhos so a saving of over £100 by buying online! The f1s are around £460 + £14 each to fit so with all that said the cost is OK its just I also have a p3 service at Horsham on Thursday so may just wait a week or so till that's done cause I never have any luck when cars are serviced there's always some other expense that's found!
-
As per title!???? I need to put 4 new tyres on my rays I have just refurbished! Been through loads of info on here but still can't make my mind up! Did consider kumho le sport ku39 as there such a good price and I have had them on a Scooby and e46 330 sport and they were great! I am of round France in 2 weeks so need to act now! Advise please on kumho/Goodyear's/and falkens. No advise is bad advise!! Thanks!
