  1. Had HFC fitted at abbey on Friday. Noticed today that there is a slight hesitation at about 2.5k/3.5 rpm if I floor it. Almost like it's letting off the gas for a second, but my foot is fully planted. What's going on? Wasn't like this before they were fitted. I thought if anything It should feel smoother although I haven't had a remap so wasn't expecting to feel anything.
  2. Check out this dude. Pretty sure I see him grinding off something in the video
  3. I now have pretty much the same set up. At 3k rpm it sounds like a maniac! I'm not 100% sure I like it. Bit too raspy for me. Will see if I can get used to it. Reminds me of a M3 on steroids!
  4. It will use a lot more battery juice to start the car, so don't rule the battery out just yet.
  5. I would go 720. I wonder how many people actually watch YouTube stuff on high quality monitors compared to people watching on phones or tablets. I watched your video on a old iPad with half brightness so I'm never benifitting from high quality video. Really enjoy your videos. And will Definatly be attending those car cruises next November when I'm back in Orlando. Very jeluse of your holiday!
  6. See you leaving this morning. I was having breakfast waiting for Abbey motorsport to open. Love the colour!
  7. I'm not fitting them, but I'm sat at Abbey having my Berks fitted. Looking forward to the drive home which includes hindhead tunnel!
  8. Every time I come into the sub forum it always costs me bloody money. I still have a clay cloth i haven't used yet!
  9. Think that will be down to Viagogo to decide. Would hope they would refund you what you paid for the ticket. Just hope our tickets will be valid for the rescheduled date, when ever that may be
  10. I want that new shelby 350 So bad. The noise the exhaust makes when in loud is sooooo good!!
  11. I was really looking forward to royal blood too. Have been wanting to see them for ages! Gutted its cancelled but I know it's for the best. Just hope it's rescheduled and our tickets are honoured as I can't go through that again
  12. I think he said on there that he wouldn't do it. Bet there was a secret message in there somewhere lol
  13. I was once a passenger in a car when the bonnet flew up and completely blocked our view without warning . I was getting a lift to work with my shift foreman on 2 till 10 and we were doing around 60 mph on a dead straight road near Ellesmere Port. This was in the 60's and the car was a Vauxhall of some type, maybe a Velox. We managed to pull up safely and secure the bonnet before continuing, damage was fairly minimal amazingly, just a crease where it hit the roof. I don't think its much of a problem these days although the Renault Clio I had was subject to a recall to fit a safer bonnet catch. Pete I was about to say, a friend of mine had a old Clio and the bonnet flew up on the motorway! He had only been driving for a couple of years at the most. Must have been terifying.
  14. Silver 370 XHT Ginge 350
  15. I have finished running all network cables. Want to make sure they are all ok. Is a basic continuity test enough? Will prove none of the cables are broken. I have a tester on it's way but that needs plugs on the end of each cable and I'm not doing that!
  16. Look at the photos supplied on the 1st page
  17. The 300 model he is talking about will be the rev-up fitted to facelift models.
  18. Anyone else going (or not going as it may turn out) to any of the shows over the next couple of weeks? Have tickets for wembley on Saturday, but after last night I think they will be cancelled. They have cancelled a festival tonight and a tour date in Switzerland tomorrow so it's not looking good!
  19. When I used to lurk on the evo forum there was always complaints of red cars turning pink
  20. Yeah as above horsham developments would be your closest
  21. Generally it's poor or inefficient cooling. They say that the cyclinders heat and warp, assuming an oval shape. I've also read that Porsche used sub-standard materials for the liners in this first mass-produced engine which has an impact also. +1 for hartech. Jamie I think the blokes name was. My mate used him to rebuild his 996 when it went pop. Jamie drove to Portsmouth on a Sunday and picked it up and had it all done in a couple of weeks. My mate said it was around the 6k mark.
  22. I see you coming off your drive this morning. Was it you I met in M&S car park a few months back?
