*Now £6600 and on AutoTrader* I have decided to let my Zed go. She stays in the garage through out the winter and only driven in the summer. I have a new job this year where I have to park on the road and I am too precious to get her out of the garage simply to be left on the road while I am at work. My old job had a private underground car park so it was perfect. I'm getting on now and I hate to say it, but my old winter car (Golf) is all I need now days and I want my garage space back. Mods; Undersealed (The first ever owner had extra underseal treatment covering areas that the standard treatment doesn't) Cobra Y Pipe Berks Hi flow Cat Braided hoses fitted last year Stage 1 RPC clutch fitted around 17k miles ago along with a new flywheel HKS air filter New pads all around 5k miles ago Serviced every summer (FSH with mostly stamps and all receipts) including the original purchase sale receipt Plenum spacer 06 airbox intake mod Tuned at Abbey Motorsport - 302bhp with printed graphs and receipt Fujitsubo exhaust (Rare exhaust that was an option on the Nismo) sounds amazing. Sound clip (phone quality) Forged 18" alloys which I had refurbed Michelin Sports all around with a good amount of tread Only ever run with Super unleaded Android 7" screen head unit Under brace S2000 ariel Orange rimmed Z mats, orange leather gear gator and handbrake cover New Bonnet and boot struts Extras; Full set of suspension taken from a 2009 Zed that covered 25k miles. Nothing wrong with the existing suspension but I bought these just for spares. these will be included with the sale. Boot divider Mint strut brace - again, bought as a spare New battery fitted last year HID lights, all other lights are high spec LED's, rear parking assist sensors Everything works. Needs air con re gassing but that's it. The dashboard surround and door window switch surrounds are in great shape unlike most examples around now. Clean through out. Never taken on a track and never driven hard. MOT due in May Heathfield, East Sussex TN21 8YL NOTE: The strut brace and engine cover are chrome plated so need a good buffing up. There is surfact rust on the brace, so either a rub down or swapping out with the mint spare brace which is included.

True. May order a battery tester. It will come in handy with my old focus daily commuter too. I always thought the dash battery gauge was enough to go by until now. The problem is when the battery is on it's last legs it can play silly buggers with the electrical system and the gauge being electrical, it may be susceptible too. good to know thanks for the info

It was the one I got with the car so at least 5 years old. Its showing as full charge on the dial in the car.

Hi all, I don't know anything about starter motors, but recently the 2005 DE seems to be struggling slightly when starting her. I turn the key, there is a usual starter motor noise, then a pause and then it starts. Always starts OK, its just the pause and its getting longer. Feels like its struggling. Any advice? Thanks.

Hi all, I am wondering if it is common to get a gap at the top of the boot (both sides) after fitting new gas struts? I definitely fit them right way round, but either side of the boot at the top is raised buy a good few mil. Quite noticeable if you stand at the front of the car and look towards the back. The boot closes OK. Thanks.

Hi I still have the original stereo in my 2005 GT and it sucks... Does anyone know an Android model that fits with out having to drill into the cage/brace? also, mine has the built in amp so i am wondering if that is an issue too? Thanks

New Exedy clutch just fitted - juddering when pulling away

What flywheel would you recommend (in case that is the cause of the judder)? -

My garage got the clutch in and fitted it. They said it would judder until it's worn in. 2005 GT model. -
Is this to be expected (bedding in) or is something wrong? Reversing judder is even worse.

Much prefer the look of the 350... The 370 looks like the designers have taken the 350 design and gone 'right.. we need to change something, what shall we change? The 370 front lights just dont look right to me

Hi all, Guddu is supposed to be coming to 'view' it on Sunday so I should give him first dibs. I have been messed about alot in the past with silly offers / cancellations so I will update this thread on Sunday if it is still available. -

LOL I would rather keep it as a spare rather than let it go for 50 quid! Thanks for this comment though, I'm sure it will help me sell mine
