The LEDs needs to be behind the concave glass thats infront of the projector and two holes drilled just behind. You will need to remove the headlamp and split it in an oven to do this mod.

Can you tell me what exactly is happening. Ive fixed four of these now and consider my self the master. lol Let me know whats going on from the moment you sit down to the moment it stops. Describe everything to me as I may be able to help.

You really want that ?********? don't you. Lol OK, seriously guys its a mamoth task, we all know that and the technicality does not bother me. I'm a mechanical design engineer by trade and solve problems every day, and also sub contract to a few F1 teams so I have the know how. If it can't be done, I'll get it done. If the 70 is wider from pillar to pillar then that's a bonus. Gonna start looking at sourcing a 70 and 50. So most will be done off the car and in my workshop, using the 50 as the main template for all datum points. The elecs will then be separated into various looms, tackling the job in car as it were. Just a thought, I could buy a front section of the car with a dash, cut and keep the crucial parts I.e. inner wings, pillars, front firewall. Mount this structure onto a skid frame on castors which would act as the perfect jig. Any thoughts guys, keep me coming.

As you know, I don't do things by halves as far as my car is concerned. Last Sunday, having looked at Andy's 370 and how nice His dash looked, I was wondering if a dash swap can be achieved. Yes I know its alot of work, that I can do, but does anyone know off hand if this has been done before (any links would be handy) and also how different dimensionally the 370 is to the 350 regards to from pillar to pillar and the rake angle of the front screen screen? Just early stages at the moment but If I can see that it can be done, I'll do it and give it ago. I've exterior on the car is more or less finished so its the interior next.

Appologies if this has been asked before. I was just wondering if all de-cats create the cel error. Ive just bought a set of Japspeed De-cats and I've heard that some de-cats do and some do'nt. I've also seen that Tarmac (i think) sell de-cats that overcome the CEL error issue. How do they do that (what do they offer that's different?) How can I over come this issue should I have this error other that putting the cats back on? Thanks

I would love to conduct an experiment here. Create a new thread where EVERY member has to post a pic of their zed as it is now, today. not photoshopped, just as it is now and there shall be no comments, nothing, nawt, zip. Just pics. It would be interesting on who can hold back with their views, whether members are too embarased to post pics because of Naff colours and kits, risking being ridiculed by other members etc etc. Wonder whom would first to break. ! Maybe Admin can start such a thread. bit of fun

If you don't want someone to give an opinion, don't invite the opinion in the first place. Trouble is, everyone thinks their car and mods are the best thing ever (to them, they probably are), and so crave the adoration of their peers. Mostly it works as we generally here know what works, but sometimes it doesn't. As I've said before, Silly Hat Rule. If you want to wear a silly hat then that's fine, but don't expect me not to tell you it's a silly hat if you post a pic. I didn't say I didn't like the bumper, I said I didn't like the headlights :p Dan you have no right to say " but sometimes it does'nt" ....as its your view. What works or "does'nt" is with the builder / owner of that car.

to ask member of their opinion is a worthless quest. I should know. My car gets slated, not by everyone but you do get the haters. However, this style thing, its very individual. I would never ask if you like my feature wall in my lounge, as its pointless and means nothing regards to your views, so why do it with cars,body kits and colours?? The car scene would be dead on its arse if every one had GM coupe' with 18" rays. We are all car mad because we "ENJOY" looking at what others have done regardless of how good or bad you think the car is.

yes 9 years max. I explained that I had 9 years 2 years ago plus this year just gone with no claims. Whether or not they took that into consideration? Agreed valuation through the broker whom was in talks with the insurer. Will also send proof of mods valuations, receipts and work done and the like.

Agree with Tricky Ricky Dicky. Get a higher Ampeage battery. Just did mine and makes a whole lot of difference on initial crank up.

AH. The UK. The only country where will fill our garages up with worthless crap and leave our 10-20k car outside. lol I would hate living in these so called new homes, where the garage (which is sold as a premium with the 5 bedroom "large family" house) is about 6ft wide and 10ft deep.
