Ive run a small 7" tablet through the aux at the back of my HU and by downloading various music players, some of which have got pro quality e.q.'s and effects and the like. By playing with this set up Im very happy with the sound. Next for me a speaker build behind the seats (I have a roadster). Its tight but do-able with what I got in mind.

cheers guys. I know that Ive not taking it over 5000 rpm as the car only commutes 2 miles each way to work each day with the occassional week end banter but nothing silly. Also I must confess that I too use 97 ron most of the time as its the closest garage to me. Lets hope that nothings been effected. Gonna get a compression test done on pay day to see whats what. thanks again.

Was on the phone to the previous owner of my car about a small issue and one thing let to another and the petrol question popped out in conversation. It turns out that over the 4 years he had owned my car, he only put cheap Lower Ron petrol in it. Ive only used the Higher Ron fuels since ownership. so my question is, can the fact that he used the cheapest unleaded, does or has it damaged anything inside the engine or fuel lines??? also Remembering years ago in my teens you were able to pour some sort of additive into the fuel tank to increase the Ron, but might be totally wrong here as im unsure what it was and what it did. - cheers Zeb

great stuff. thanks. - Front speakers are being powered with just the head unit, and the amp 800w x 4 will power some large 8 x 6 mb quart componets behind the seat, cutting into the bose base speaker panel and the cubby door. Hopefully!!! lol - Ill post some pics up as Im doing it. cheers

Im going to run a 4-5mm Thick amplifier power cable from the battery to my new amp contained behind my passanger seat cubby hole (ive got a roadster). So.....is there a readily available access for the cable to come through the fire wall on the passanger side. Had a quick look and cant see anything obvious there to push the cable from the engine bay into the cab. cheers Zeb.

Hey dday thanks for that. Might explain why some of they're kits are so cheap. I'm in no rush as it will be a winter project and haven't finalised what changes I'm doing yet. Cheers

My mates used a light window tint film and looks the dogs. Also if Mr. MOT doesnt like them, whip em off. Halfords to a large sheet for 20 bucks. Ill see if I can find a pic for you.

theres as few on there I like and the prices are good for what you get. Ive built a few Ferrari replicas in the past and know all there is to know about fibre glass so ill fitting parts dont bother me. Ill ask tarmac if they can get what Im after, allbeit maybe wont be what they stock or get in as standard. I'll be going for the GTR front bumper, some vented side skirts and a nice wrap around rear apron that bonds directly onto my oem bumper. Looking for a vented bonnet in GRP but all I can find is Carbon ones, which I dont want. cheers guys - watch this space. Project Green is about to commence.

ah ha. This is something Ive penciled in too. Im sure they can be altered for the direction. When you think about it, its only the way the bulb is seated. Alter the angle of the face / recess it sits onto,youve altered the projecting path of the light. Cant be that difficult. Anyone else got any experience on these from the US??

Same thing happened to me last week joining onto the motorway from a rounderbout. A scooby was on the outside lane and I was inner on the rounderbout. Both of us accelerated hard out to joing the motorway. Before I knew it we were doing 140 , so easy and effortless. Needless to say I backed off as its was a stupid thing to do. Fun tho!

If you were offered a free paint job on ya cherished Zed, money no object, what would be your dream colour...........???? Mine would be Ford RS pearly green with the gold three stage paint. Not seen one Zed this colour or not many in green to think about it, apart from one obvious one.

Is it basically bolt off and bolt on. Ill be tackiling the engine bay shortly so just wondered how much of a job is it to remove. I know there are various length bolts to keep track of etc . Sorry if there is an existing post on this and if there is, I cant find the link Thanks in advance

quite a mixed bag on opinions. Im not planning on using this in the grand scheme of things as I prefere others which IMO are alot closed to what I envisage my car to end up like. Huge choice out there to pick from. Out of cutiosity any one tried to do a euro look on these cars or are you all true to form Zedders?

just got me thinking....has anyone tried to use the motorised OEM ones on aftermarket seats??? Can it be done with a bit of fettling and welding??? If someone came up with a sub assembly to come inbetween the OEM ones and the new seats and make them as so they are universal to suit all would be on a winner Im sure. Food for thought me thinks. Mororised back and forth but manual recline. Anyone got a spare set to butcher and design something???

I know this is quite a renound car within the zed community but can anyone tell me what kit is on Amy's car and where can it be bought. Love the car love the interior and love the colour. Well done Amy.
