  1. Pics to follow in a min
  2. Ok. Today's been the first chance I've had to open the boxes. I'm gonna give an honest review of each item in turn just in case there are others interested in purchasing the same items. First ti open was the rear apron for the back bumper. Purchased from ep racing in Leicester I think but through eBay anyways. The item is es style apron. Which I think keys ear and a few others on here have. Packaging. Very good with stiff strong cardboard and bubble wrap and tape in abundance. First glance I could see it was not the best of items. Gel coat very thin. Missing in some area and could see some marks where the apron had pulled from the mould. Stuck in other words. I reckon about two layers of csm ( matting) with thin layers of resin. Altogether very light but due to its shape, quite strong. Trim lines poor and there is evidence of stress lines in the gel coat which is an indication of too much cat in the resin. So all in all a bit of work to do before even offering it up to the car. Oh yes be aware that its been moulded for an import so alteration around the number plate reveal is required. I'm not phased as I've bags of experience with kits.
  3. you need to replace the oem studs with ones that are 20MM longer. so you dont bolt the spacer onto the hub, just use it as a spacer between the hub and the wheel flange unsing your wheel nuts to tighten the whole lot up. Make sure that you spacers are hub centric tho. If you want to bolt the spacers on, you will need to grind down the oem studs flush to the face of the spacer. And if then you cannot use the given nuts that came with the spacers for secuiring because of the bore diameter is too small, you will need to drill out the counter bore to the correct dia. Make sure you use locktight on the nuts. Hope this helps.
  4. im intreged regards to the aluminium foil and coke on chrome - please elabarate????

  7. Went to a kids disco last night with the gymnastics club as my daughter is in the squad. I wondered in holding a knife and started staring at the kids. Needless to say i made a few of the cry causing them to run back to their parents. Did i pull off the mask so that i could be recognised as a gymnastics dad 4 days a week......did i hell. Lol HAPPY HALLOWEEN EVERYONE
  8. Im not sure but I think I read somewhere where someone split the units and placed mirror chrome vynil wrap on the face of the diffuser then sealed up again. I may be doing mine shortly as I want to paint the part around the main beam in a coulour matching the car. Ill let you know if and when I do it how I get on
  9. you could link it up to the interior light. through the roof lining and down the front pillar then through into the door. That is, if you only want them to come on when you open the door as the courtesy light comes on with it?
  10. another way to do it is to use windown movie maker drag all the tracks that you want onto the time line, stich em together or over cross fade them, set to loop then burn the lot onto dvd. basically you are making a movie with no picture just sound in what ever format you choose.

    manual roof

Can anyone help. Ill be getting a new roof shortly for my roadster and I have issues with the fith bow motor. I can open open and close the roof but have to have someone pressing the button and I need to be outside pressing the micro switch on the left hand side of the frame outside, commos fault with roadsters. Anyway, is there a manual over ride for the roof in the boot or something?? appologies if this has been asked before cheers Zeb

    winter project.

Of course it's pointless. People spend thousands on kits and wheels....why??? For what purpose??? Cos it's unique to them that's all. Unless you drift or race why have a spoiler???? All pointless mate.

Ye gm. Aesthetics over function. There will be a tray on the underside catching water and will drain away down a small hose, that's the plan. Seen loads on google with the exact type. Just like the look of em. Again just my taste. Lol

Flow jet uses water to just profiles in steel very acuratly using CBC. Extremely high pressure jet of water that's all. Do your outline on a cad machine the convert it into a CBC programe. Simples. Like it or hate it I suppose but I just love this colour with gloss black accents.

AMUSE bits all ordered with es rear diffuser. Rs6 seats on the way. Just gotto decide on the black wheels. Cutting bonnet in two weeks for the vents on a flowjet system. All systems go. Paint is ford rs green with gold pearl. Not cheap but is a cracking and unique for a british zed roadie.
  16. bump are these still available???
  17. put in wheel size o/d ie 18/19 20 etc. put in ya vin number and thats it. Fit - yes / Fit no. if yes, options bla bla bla :-) because of vins, must be a secure part of the site as in payment
  18. Ive been looking everywhere, trying to find a grp, frp, fibre glass, call it what you will, vented bonnet. All that is around are carbon ones, which when painted, are not worth the pennies IMO (i dont like black bonnets on coloured cars) So anyone know or gotta link to a store that sells them. Alternativly Ill be happy cutting the bonnet and dropping some vents in providing that they suit the cars ovcourse, so if possible, post some pics up of the vents you would choose, if its your cuppa, to have some ideas and links if poss of where I could purchase from. I do like the aston type of having 4 small ones, two in the front two at the back and spread out wider than the front. Im not looking necesarry for it to be functional just for styling. But if it is, then better. cheers Zeb
  19. take a look at the ferrari 430 scuderia. maybe that will be another option. and yes they still put stripes on ferraris
