As the title sais. With new brackets and possible disks, can a set of front calipers be fitted to the rear too?? Would there be a difference in braking, but more than anything for visual apperance .
Every time a wash my wheels I cant help thinking how small the rear pots are for a heavy car.?? and dont look half as good.
Zeb
After spending hrs watching vids on Youtube in particular "dipyourcar.com" the more I'm getting that this might be a sensible option over painting. I've really bought into the idea of being able to change the colour of your car as and when you want to without lasting damage and complete minimal prep time for painting, something Im dieing to try out myself. I think after the initial purchase of the heardware etc, it could be a realitivly cheap option of re-painting. Now with advance technology of glossifiers, pearls and flips etc, the dip no longer has to be a dull Matte finish.
anyone one here thinks this is an option for them and if so what colour would you choose for your car. Anyone also with dipping experience. Would love to know what its like to live with and how easy was it to do.
Even though I can paint my car FOC by my brother in the conventional manner, this I think is a better option for what I have planned.
zeb.
I had one and loved it. The engine is bomb proof IMO. Look out for scratches on the door pulls inside and the centre bars either side of the radio as they scratch easy. Easy to paint thogh. The tyre pressure monitor light comes on now and again even if they are not fitted with run flats. There is a cancel button near the hand break to knock the dash light off. Also the airbag light came on alot with me.
good luck
I'm thinking of buying these (AXE EX20)
http://www.rimstyle.com/alloywheels/selection/?car_model_id=1743&year=2005&dia=20
With a 10.5 rear and 8.5 front
The Front wheels come with a 20mm spacer
offsets are 45 et front
and 25 et on the rear
Tyres will be 20 x 245 x 35 fronts and 275 x 35 rears.
My suspension is bog standard at the moment and may lower it depending on the outcome of this fitment.
I need you wheel gurus on here to tell me if they will be a decent fit. Please dont debate whether or not spacers are bad or good etc as I have absolutely no problem having them on the car if its helps with the fitment.
So, with the above info, will they rub the arches?? and if possible how much will they stick out?
any guidance here will be very help full.
thanks
