  1. I cant find where its at on this forum as Ive reached 350. Anyone with a link?? sorry guys.
  2. Yep. It operates similar to a DA sander and rotates on a cam and not on a central axis. The Autoglym Super Resin polish came off with no effort at all whilst the top coat of Gloss Wax was a bit harder but still a breeze. Polished each panel in turn and the whole car in under 10 mins. Well worth 16 quid. I spend that on supper lol
  3. sorry just seen the 370z Logo. so ignore the latter
  4. dealers just swap n change mats all the time from car to car just to make the sale. Its probably not OEM or off a 350??
  5. Ive just dropped top gaitors an email for material options. Will let you all know if and when I get a reply. Can Hide n seek do these at this kinda cost?? Mondo was it??
  6. I like. Shame they wern't alcantara. Cheap tho and worth a go for that kinda money.
  7. theres a company from OZ doing lights at around 300 mark and they are set up for UK as they drive on the same side. Ill post the link if I can find it.
  8. You need to split the "Video in Aux" on your HU. BUT if you have a DVD player integrated into the HU there may not be another Video input for it as the main source of video will be from the DVD. I for that very reason have bout a 13 quid 3" small screen to sit somewhere on the dash. Good luck tho.
  9. You try getting a mk1 mr2 rare and still stunning in standard form
  10. Sorry i might add that rears will be 285 35 20 with rear being et45
  11. I asked a few weeks ago if anyone ran 10 inch up front on their 350. Much to my supprise alot of you did. So im asking just one final question as i need to get this right and need definite answers please. Im about to purchase a set of axe ex20 wheels 20" x 10 et25 and ill then make spacers to suit. Im thinking of running 255 tyres but with 35 profile and not 30 as i dont like the rubber band look. Can this set up work up front. Im running bog oem shocks n springs. I just need a yes or no and if no why cant it work. Thanks guys. So in the end I forked out 1600 for these axe ex20 going 245 front and 275 rears. The rear wheels have a good concave shape which is what I was after and the fronts being 9.5 has a slightly shallower dish. I realise they are not to everyone's taste but I love em. Hope to get them on next few days.
  12. Top thread. FairPlay for going balls out on this. Modding is defo in your blood no matter how old you are. I keep telling the wife. Lol
  13. Best 16 quid ever. Even if it last a year. Well pleased.
  14. This is the chap. Had some of this hanging around so decided to give it a go. As I said wasn't bothered about possible paint damage as its being painted dipped or wrapped at some point after the kit is installed. URL=http://s1375.photobucket.com/user/nigelrees123/media/Mobile%20Uploads/2015-04/DSC_0775_zpsvohzps2e.jpg.html][/url] Came with some micro fibre bonnets and synthetic lambs wool ones. Did the super resin first and buffed with the micro fibre. Then tried the hi gloss with the wool. The super resin buffed off with minimal effort but the gloss one took bait more effort. Still well pleased with the outcome which makes me think after 28 years of car ownership this is the first one I've ever bought. She wanted a go. FairPlay she asks to try everything from sanding plaster boards to drilling walls and screwing things into wood. Lol
  15. so after reading a thread of polishers and someone mentioned one selling in Lidls I popped in and bought the last one. Seemed to have flown off the shelf. Dont know anything about polishers other than this one is a 280 dia orbital polisher with two handles with an assortment of pads and bonnets. So as a virgin buffer I thought I might give it a bash over the week end. My car is Gunmetal metallic. so in light of this what should my products be and how would you do it ie panel at a time, maskin?? etc etc Just want some simple guide lines to obtain a better finish that with doing it but hand. Not looking at spending big money on product as Ill be fitting my kit before long so I just want to do it just see whats possible before the work starts. cheers
  16. PAYCO sais HFC's ruin the Ark set up and Hell Presentante sais its much better with HFC's. LOL the joys of the forum.
  17. sorry but Im a right noob at things like this. Has my car got these as standard. Its a UK car. As i cannot see any ballasts or what ever they are (the boxes) i cant tell just by looking at the lights as Ive never had a car with them on before. When I put the lights on they kinda flick and go brighter on start up (of the lights not engine). Albeit not very whitish blue. thanks
  18. You can get paint now that is petrol resistant. As I said its moved on along way since that dull matt finishes. I'm not put off at all because if its crap I can peel it off. Nothing ventured nothing gained. I'll keep you posted. Cheers peanut. At least you've got an insight so you know what you are talking about.
  19. yes of course a bias valve would have to be fitted to reduce the B.Pressure, goes without saying. I was just asking whether it was possible and if someone on here has had any experience with something similar.
  20. ooo fondant icing cover. Now there's an idea. When you get fed up, just eat your topcoat pmsl.
