  1. Also I wouldn't bother replacing it as the hood has a rubber sealing strip all around its rear edge and won't damage the paintwork.
  2. Ok. If I was to remove mine this is what I do. Suns out so top down. Get a hair drier and slowly heat up the strip at one end. Keep the hair dryer moving melting the adhesive an inch at a time. Start to pull it up with a fine blade. Move to the next inch and repeat making sure the strip is hot and soft before peeling it up. Let us know if and when you try. Good luck.
  3. Maybe a glitch. Perhaps even hook it up to a code reader and see what pops up???
  4. Any polypropylene type plastic would do it. The type you can bend and doesn't crack and can be plastic welded.

  8. I took a look at the add again. If you scroll down you can see that the seller has some followers (guys whom keep a close eye on what he sells alot of) One such member is A1salvage2014. Coincidence??? Both go together if you ask me
  9. the seller is in Llanelli which is where I live. You'd think I've seen the car around would you, but nope. Never seen this one. I take it no one on this site has bought it then?
  10. you will deffo get the paint up. The paint on the clam shell is redicilasly thin. I wouldnt risk it unless you plan to paint
  11. great set of nuts Stu. It doesnt block the view its too low. Great thing is, when you get bored, just peel it off
  12. you can just see the spiggot on the first pic. So these are straight onto the hub with no spacers fitted. The problem with fitting big arches is that your car is too standard to pull it off. Unless you spend like a grand plus on a big body kid, you may as well then buy the proper size wheels. Did you buy them is a store or ebay??
  13. totally wrong offset. Hope you can get them changed.
  14. I nearly said irish plates?? Then noticed you were from belfast. Lol enjoy it and theres a few good members on here from ireland.
  15. Been thinking a while to vinyl wrap this panel for a while mow. So today decided to give it a go to see what it looked liked. Think its a keeper. Theres a gm and blue theme starting her here. Might have to re-paint interior now. Never ends.

  19. tried doing a search but came up with nothing. Is it pressed steel or aluminium or other??? Thanks.
  20. I thought about doing mine. Watched the vid of some American lad doing it on his driveway and instantly sh@t out. With Ray @ Swansea doing new roofs and fitting for 300 bucks it's a no brainier for me as its on my doorstep.
  21. If you go for it check it over by a professional. I've bought a few before (not Zeds) with absolute no issues. Be advised though that when it comes to selling you may get problems. Also v5 needs the statement on it that's it's been checked and is safe and categorised.
