  1. http://www.350z-uk.c...t-clutch-pedal/ makes a world of difference also a question, not sure with this car, is it normal for the thrust bearing to make a bit of noise when the clutch pedal is up and go away when pressed or not?
  2. thanks all, I was aware it was non gt just what I was after, the seats are by far the most comfy I have ever sat in! Just done the clutch pedal adjustment aswell makes a world of difference
  3. Yeh I was surprised at the price of a low milage but I checked everything, clutch seemed ok, thrust bearing making a little noise nothing major been told this was normal with Zs as they are quite noisy, engine tidy with full service, inside decent I have no complaints Needs a few things, new head unit, nice exhaust, alloys maybe sprayed black, all in good time
  4. Her name is Nicki by the way, as in Minaj because she has the biggest arse I have ever driven
  5. Not with those cabby drivers it wasn't! Although saying that I did have them pull up and compliment me after 20 minutes of driving
  6. After a long hard search of about 2 months I finally found one I liked for a reasonable price and picked it up Thursday from London (was not fun driving it for first time through city centre!) Only basic 04 model as I hate leather seats, needs respray on bumper and wing but apart from that she is beautiful to drive and look at I would post pictures but apparently the file is too big... I have to say I have never driven a car with such a heavy clutch and high biting point! Going to be doing the clutch pedal adjustment soon, would be nice to meet up with some members around the Norwich area soon
  7. turns out they were leather which someone had put it, car was a bucket i didnt even bother making a offer would be alright if someone wanted to change everything but i dont so the search continues!
  8. not a huge fan of leather in general to be honest, to hot in summer and cold in winter thanks for all your help, if all goes well hopefully i will have my first 350z, ive only been look for about 2 months
  9. sorry lol here is the link http://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201405244465933/sort/default/usedcars/make/nissan/postcode/nr161dr/price-to/7000/body-type/coupe/page/1/radius/1501/transmission/manual/maximum-mileage/up_to_70000_miles/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/model/350_z?logcode=p thats the car, if you scroll through pictures you can see the seats, guy said they were standard but im sure they arent no i have put it through a quote for insurance and it comes up uk car i will hpi check it to be sure before i go to see it your more than welcome, i will let you know they seem to be of an acquired taste
  10. Hi all, I will be looking to buy a 350z tomorrow and was just curious about the seats inside, they are black and white leather and was just wondering if this was a factory choice when new or if someone has put them in? I've never seen one with them in before so was a little sceptical since the car isn't a GT model. If all goes well and I buy it I will probably just take them out and replace with standard cloth seats anyway to be honest much nicer in my opinion
  11. 7 points for me and I havent even bought a zed yet!
  12. ok I found something else, all UK cars come with Brembo brakes and if it has brembo brakes then it has lsd so all uk cars must have lsd? and im not sure about if they all have vdc i have looked at a few which dont have the button?
  13. Sorry if this has already been asked, I have used the search option but cant find the answer as it wont search 3 letters etc and I've Googled it but it comes up with the typical "off or on" topic and that's not what I'm after. I am struggling to understand which models have VDC/TCS/LSD? I know what each one is and what it does its purely which models have it, So far my understanding is: Base - no LSD or VDC GT - LSD and VDC (which includes TCS) Enthusiast - LSD but only TCS (unsure on that one) How ever could be wrong on them all As I'm currently in the market for a 350z I want a definite understanding before I make my choice as to which one I would want. Any knowledge is greatly appreciated
  14. thanks nothing better than a bit of lol cats haha, I have had a brief look nothing takes my fancy so far :/
  15. I will have to double check the quotes then although they were with adrian flux, not looking for anything really new just something that will last me a good few years
  16. All quotes ive had have been more expensive on import
  17. I would have insurance issues going import :/
  18. yes sounds like a good idea when i get one
  19. I would never use the cruise control so find it pointless to pay extra for something I wouldn't need plus I much prefer cloth seating
  20. I've been looking for a 350z for some time now and waiting for the right one but I'm slightly confused about the price I should pay, I have seen price range anywhere between 4.5k to 9k for the model I'm after and wondering what would be too expensive or worryingly cheap. I am after ideally 2004, under 65k mileage, non gt, recent clutch and flywheel preferable, no mods just basic and well looked after, what would your opinions be? Thanks
  21. wymondham?! im technically fundenhall so just down road, norwich is just easier to say lol dont suppose your the 350z that is carbon wrapped driving about? No mines a Kuro, doesnt get out much, mrs seems to use it more than me! Not seen the carbon wrap one yet, I'll keep my eyes peeled for it though. I would never let my mrs drive any car of mine! lol, im sure the person who owns it also owns the tinting place behind the police station
