  1. Nice, I like the Cotswolds. Spent 5 days there last year with the wife and our little'un. Hope the weather improves for you.
  2. Small world. You coming to the Ace cafe thing?
  3. Either white, gold or bronze. Sounds like you're busy those so it's no problem if you can't. Enjoy your holiday - anywhere nice?
  4. Bronze is in the shortlist, but gloss not mat I think. Hoping to buy some paints this weekend
  5. I tried everything but no joy until I cleared cache. No idea why, I can't explain it but now seem able to paste so we're all good
  6. Hodaka Only if you're bored... Feel free to PS my legs from the door
  7. Hello everyone Over the last couple of months I have been posting on here while searching for Zed. At long last I picked one up from another forum member, BEMS. The drive home from Aberdeen to Hertfordshire was a long one (535 miles) but I made it home eventually. I'm booked into the next Ace Café meet so I can hopefully get to meet some of the local owners and am looking forward to it. Taken during one of my many toilet stops on the journey back 2am and home at last less than 7 hours later... Ain't she a beaut! Jamie
  8. Hi Grundy, I did read your post but as I said, I couldn't copy into the text box as my paste function wasn't working - other than when using the green box. The suggestion to clear cache appears to have worked though so thanks to everyone for assistance.
  9. The green box thing still doesn't work and just freezes my system but its a start. Might go add a comment later in the introduction section.
  10. Wey hey!!!! had to clear the cache thing and now my paste function works. Bloody odd but there you go
  11. Its strange, if I copy the URL from PB and click the green box on this site, I am able to paste it in (although the system then freezes), however if I copy it and then attempt to paste it into this text box, rather than the green box, then I don't have a paste option - as if it hasn't copied (even though it has). I'm guessing I have an issue with my setup/profile on here?
  12. I'm doing the usual stuff, uploading to photobucket etc but when I try to add the photo - by clicking on the little green square, the pop up appears with the title Image Properties and allows me to paste the photobucket URL into it but then just freezes. If I click OK, to add the photo, nothing at all happens. Then if I try to cancel I can't and as its totally frozen I have to come out of the website completely and then go back in. Am I being stupid?
  13. I'd be slightly nervous of going left and getting a bounce back bb in the face
  14. Have to disagree with this. I picked my Zed up a few weeks ago and when driving back on a straight dual carriageway at the appropriate speed, in rain, in 6th gear and with traction turned on, I slowed to about 55 due to a car ahead. When he moved over I gently accelerated back up the cruise speed and fish tailed left and right 3 or 4 times before I got it straight. Completely took me by surprise. It wasn't provoked at all but I suspect either greasy roads or possibly a fuel spillage perhaps? Either way, while I caught it, it could easily have spun and caused an accident. No clutch dumping was required to get it spinning
  15. Hello mate, where in Essex are you, I grew up in Epping but moved to Hertfordshire a few years back
  16. Good luck, my round trip was almost 1100 miles, London to Aberdeen a couple of weeks back
  17. Hi matt. Another noob like me! They aren't the fastest car in the world but for road use I think they're quick enough. I suspect the soft top is a little slower than the coupe? If you check the region meets section of the site there is a Zed day at the ace cafe coming up in a few months. I've only had mine for a couple of weeks so am going along to meet some of the others, in case you fancy it...
  18. Congrats! I too have just bought one and am very much enjoying that noise (less so a slightly lumpy clutch in traffic). At 22, well done!
  19. I'm swaying towards white or gold . The lip of each wheel is currently diamond cut and lacquered so almost has a finish similar to chrome and so the paint would really just be the spokes. Either colour will look nice I'm sure
  20. AliveBoy, will they fit a 57 plate or are they for the older bumper? If they'll fit, I think about a swap (or perhaps just cash)
  21. Great stuff, thanks all for the replies p.s.tarmac got banned?
