In addition to your first post I have fitted Hong Kong double dins in other cars and they have worked flawlessly....

I have fitted the Pioneer app radio, ok at first but turning out to be a bit of mither, must make sure the iphone is plugged in before sat nav will work etc... Wish I had bought one which had sat nav built in now.

I have an EPR filler cap for the DE knocking around. I will take some photos and post up an ad tomorrow if you are interested? Looking at a tenner. If it's anything like the Pioneers there is a separate cable to turn the factory fitted amp on, on the Pioneer I fitted I think it was blue/white?

When I first had the Z I had a fair but of water ingress which was leaking onto the headlining, eventually I ended up gun king up the drivers side boot lid hinge and this has stopped the leak, I presume it was seeping in through the bolt holes of the hinge, has anyone removed their boot lid and is it reletavely easy to do? I want to put some new rubber seals on the hinges as a permanent fix if possible... Thanks in advance for any help..

I have always trusted my cars including the 350 in Lodge Tyres opposite Freeport, good mate and runs with a good set of mechanics....

You can buy the seals separately, I got mine from Nissan Stafford the other day.

I have just finished fitting this unit to my Z, works a treat but didn't bother with steering wheel controls...

This is the area the water is coming through, right behind the drivers headrest through the hole where the head lining is clipped....

Hi all, new to the forum after buying my first 350z last week, love the car except that I have a leak coming through the roof and soaking the headlining, there is a set of three holes at the rear of the roof more or less right under the boot lid hinge and when it was raining at the weekend it was dripping in really bad, as anyone had the same thing and do they know where the water was getting in? Any help will be much appreciated....
