I don't doubt that. But the common car has to be the main consumer. It won't be long before they target aviation too. This whole green thing is a tax scam. All those people just died in London because apparently wrapping buildings in polystyrene is the green thing to do. It's just creates a unhealthy living space and a obvious fire risk. But..the company who installed it were paid £3m of tax payers money. And no doubt someone in the council got a healthy kick back. Im no trump fan...but he was right to say "f you" to the Paris agreement. Global warming is a problem that needs to be addressed. Taxing the @*!# out of people isn't the answer. How much pollution is created building these electric cars and batteries? Funny how only people in the west have to pay these "Eco" taxes too. It's just a scam.

It's the same on the us forums. Currently 558 people browsing the 350z section and 11 on the 370z section. I guess there are just more 350z owners. They're obviously cheaper too. I've never seen a modified 370z on the road. Only on here.

I just watched a YouTube video. Seems like a easy DIY job even for me. Especially on a LHD car. They just have a cover in the glovebox that pops off.

[SOLD] Custom Cat Back Fully Titanium Exhaust - £1000
Kev replied to HaydnH's topic in 350z Parts For Sale
Surprised this hasn't gone. A new one would cost almost as much as 2 motordyne cat backs. -
I'm definitely getting the petrol smell when going down hills. Althought the the first time I noticed it, the car was on the drive stationary, tank was half full and the engine had been running for about 40 mins. There was a tiny pool of petrol just behind the drivers door.

Saudi will make sure the world never stops consuming oil. £1.7 trillion buys a lot of influence. Cars will be hybrid with tiny engines and petrol will cost more than champagne. If someone designed a car that run on fresh air and water, they would be thanked with a bullet to the head. Oil and arms aren't going anywhere soon.

The leak wasn't present when the car was mot'd but I occasionally get a strong petrol smell. I have a feeling its the o ring as Willsy suggested. Is is it a big job to replace it? Surely the tank doesn't have to be dropped? I was just reading the thread about the fuel tank replacement and it sounds like a right PITA.

PPF is much better. But the really good self healing stuff costs a fortune. I know someone who spent £4K on PPF on his M3. He said it was cheap for what it was!

I think it's just a very specific market. Not many people want a 3.5 v6. If i ever sell mine I'd advertise on here and wait for the right buyer. I can't be bothered with chancers and time wasters. Yours seems well priced considering what you've done to it. People on here are more likely to appreciate the exhaust etc. Steering wheel would put alot of buyers off. Can see why you want to return to stock. Im sure the exhaust, induction kit and bonnet would sell in the trading section.

I would imagine ZMANALEX has a few lying around.

Tarmac has a Fujitsubo which is said to be very similar to the nismo. I was interested before I had to buy banana arms.
-
Can't seen how you can quiten it down with that set up. I can imagine it sounds epic if a bit much. No doubt someone will take a punt on your nismo. I've always wanted one myself.
-
Think I was just looking at your nismo exhaust on eBay. Adding cats should help quiten it down a bit.
-
I was just looking at this. Looks a bit beat up really.

This has really wound me up! Spent the last 2 hours trawling through Google searches. Considering a milltek as an alternative, but I'd prefer a JIC.
-
I had been planning a new exhaust this summer. But 2 new banana arms put a dent in my budget. I wanted either a tanabe or a fujitsubo and stumbled across a JIC y pipe on a uk site for £220. Now I have decided to replace just my y pipe for the time being and can't remember the site. Does anyone know? I know it's a long shot, but I thought it was worth a try. It's not like me to forget a site when I see something I want. I was awake till silly o'clock trying to find it. Damn pornhub making me delete my browser history!!! I want a JIC as it is very close to the tanabe y pipe which is too expensive. Thanks

Couldn't agree more. Price of exhausts in Japan and USA have dropped massively in the past 2 years. I was shocked what you can buy on Nengun for £500. But of course, shipping and duty ruin it. Prices here have have gone up substantially. An ark costs what a motordyne did a couple of years ago. Invidia has gone up £200 too.

Jack seems to be the go to guy for steering wheels on every forum I've ever been on. I first seen seen one of his wheels on a m3 forum years ago. Seen them on Alfa and Porsche forums too. Your work is really good and if I was having my interior done, you'd be the first person I would call. If it wasn't for you being on here I probably wouldn't be aware of your work. I suppose few people have full retrims, yet loads have their wheels done. Definitley worth posting pics and prices. I would always ways use a trader from here in preference to other places. Unless it is substantially cheaper to go elsewhere.

Royal Steering Wheels - Looking for inspiration / recommendations
Kev replied to jamiebridge's topic in Interior
I thought that that might be a issue. :/ If the airbag is impaired I suppose aftermarket makes more sense. -

Is it possible to trim the airbag cover. I always think they let the retrimmed wheels down a lil bit. This is is next on my list. -
Sounds good. Congrats. The rear arches are a bit extreme on the m2 and it sounds angry. I see your point. I agree about the golf r. It's so good it's boring. Tempting when you live in Manchester though. My roadster comes out about 10 times a year.

Autoglym is very good. Even with the recent heavy downpours it just beads and rolls off.
-
I agree. Track day wouldn't be fun if you were anxious. The m2 CS being tested on the Nuremberg currently looks special. Can tell it's got the m3 engine because it keeps "Farting" Best m2 I've seen is the one at evolve.
