I'd be pi**ed if I'd recently bought a new nismo.

Looks promising. I've never been a fan of the headlamp shape but it's growing on me. I like the Porsche style running lights.

Tbh mate I think a unbiased car enthusiast would choose the z4m every time. Then pick the z4?!?! A z4m is a bit more than a z4 and is definitely a enthusiasts car. I personally prefer the 350z as I don't like the look of the z4m, but there is no doubt the z4m is the superior car.

Not fitted one in a Z but if it's a knob and not a kit it's a simple case of unscrewing the old one.

The weight of the steering on my 350z surprised me. Heavier than I expected but I like it.

Cars like this look pathetic over here. I seen a few body kits like this in San Diego a couple of years ago. They look much better on wide, palm tree lined roads in the sun. Still not for me though.

I'm going to double check tomo and get them to email me confirmation. I don't trust insurance companies and these were significantly cheaper than the brokers/companies mentioned on this forum. They're part of the axa group.

Insurance companies are confusing. I'm with swift cover. I asked about a aftermarket exhaust today. The response was "you can fit a aftermarket exhaust as long as it's road legal and doesn't increase the power of the car. We won't insure a car with a exhaust that increases the power of the car". Not sure what to do now. I'm pretty sure a cat back system on its own wouldn't increase the power of the car. Surely even with the exhaust the engine won't be producing more power than it did new 9 years ago?

I'd avoid cheap chainsaws. Buy a stihl.

Had anyone got a ark with standard cats? I'd be interested to know how that sounds as I don't think I want to go down the HFC route. I can't be bothered with potential mot problems and I think the exhaust is loud enough. I just want a nicer sound.

I've read of a few us forums that it is a myth that the fujitsubo and nismo are basically the same. One guy who's had both says they are nothing alike.

Genuine Nismo bumpers are fibreglass. Well, the V1 is anyway. I didn't know that. I'm guessing they are much better quality than the cheap tat on eBay. Most of them state not safe for road use in their disclaimer.

I'm sure mine has got factory z badges. There is no way the previous owner put them on. He didn't open the boot for 9 years or even change the bass/treble settings on the stereo ( that isn't a joke).

Why is it some 350z's leave the factory with nissan badges and others z badges? Was it a option? Or are the z badged ones GT's?

I thought all GT's had Rays?
