They are worth the extra.
That's why a dealer will pay more for a low mileage car, because it's worth more and easier to sell.
I would agree with you if it was a newer car with motorway miles, but not with daily drivers that are a decade old.
I doubt anything needs to "dry out" after 10 years, and any "gremlins" must be good at "hiding".
IMHO a 10 year old 350z used regular with high miles is going to need a lot more spending on it than a mint, low mileage equivalent.
Look how long some cars sit in the classifieds despite members saying "this is a bargain" etc etc. This car sold to a dealer with no pics quickly.
From the description it sounds like the best 350 I've seen in the classifieds.
Fine, IMHO they're not worth the extra. Happy now?
Some people are mugs and buy cars just because they've got low miles on them. Good luck to them, it's their money. Personally I'm a bit more savvy and realise that modern cars do not suffer with mileage like older ones used to, but each to their own.
Replace "some" with "most" and I wouldn't call them mugs.
Many modern cars suffer with mileage more than older cars. Ask anyone with a common rail diesel or as you know a 997.1, cayman or boxster.
Modern engines are more complex and have more potential to go wrong compared to older ones.
