My brother regularly watches this YouTuber who runs a car related channel named dedication Blog. He has owned/ owns various cars including Lotus Elise, Audi R8, BMW 335I, Toyota GT86 which he FI'd. A few days ago my brother shared this link with me, it showed his new addition, the 350z! I for one am going to follow Dedication Blog and ChrisDrifts which I presume is a second channel. Link: Toward the end of this video he has Tarmac Sports goodies which makes me think there's a strong possibility he's a member on here. Hi Chris!

I had a rattling noise from cold which was a jap speed k1 exhaust touching the w brace. It went away once it got hot. Poorly made exhausts I guess.

Just found this article which shows a new prototype Z car, following on from the 370. Im sorry if this has been shared before. Im not sure if an electric motor alongside a conventional engine will detract from the Z heritage or not. What are your thoughts? http://www.motor1.com/news/134569/nissan-z-concept-debut-tokyo/

Nice work, do you have any pictures of the depth of your magic mirror? I see there is a plug encased inside the frame. I just wondered how easy it would be to thin it down more

I got given two 250w HPS lights & ballasts from work as they upgraded to fluorescents/ LED lighting. I love free stuff! They're my new garage lights! I also won an auction for an item listed everywhere for £280+ for only £166 including postage! (spray gun) Some friends at a local bodyshop let me use their workshop to prep my alloys and painted them for me, charging me only paint cost (I went with a dark bronze) All within the last week or so. Isn't it great when you grab a bargain

My job involves getting damaged cars repaired. For a full bumper respray I would expect £200 + vat North West UK, however this would be oem fitted just to repair. As others have said aftermarket fiberglass would be a pain to fit. Offer cash, may get you it a bit cheaper!

So I've just bought a Sata mini jet 4400b 1.2 Sr hvlp which I plan to use for base coat. Now I'm on the lookout for another for clear coat. Il probably just get another hvlp as opposed to the rp (reduced pressure). Depends what bargains I see first!

I got made redundant my first day back at work after just buying and moving into my first house with a whopping mortgage. The following day I approached a rival business and explained my situation and they took me on. Before long I soon realised I was being used to siphon all previous contacts and relations with previous clients and bring across their business, which I did. This soon started to dry up and relations with my new employer soured and I woke up and called him, told him I'm not coming in and il take my chances!! Then got a stopgap job working in a GP practise dealing with the general public and generating enough money for me to pay mortgage and live off of beans on toast everyday. And now reasonably better off! But I do keep thinking about how I'm never going to get rich working for somebody else...

I can't say I enjoyed ep4 as much as I enjoyed ep3. It was all a bit scripted and May was made out to be the idiot out of the bunch which he is not! He just didn't fit that persona.

I would ask a dent repairer to have a look and see if they can pull out the dent somewhat, then take it to a bodyshop and have them fill what needs to be filled and paint over it.

So today after taking a corner quite hard I had a scraping noise from the rear axle and upon closer inspection my OSR side seems to be sat about 2" lower than the other side. Quick question, is it recommended I change both rear springs? I think it's probably the best way to go.

I really enjoyed it, Hammond in his hellcat reminds me of me in my zed (especially the tunnels) That house they destroyed has been on TG before, I wonder if it had something structurally wrong with it? Seems a shame to destroy a 200 year old house.

I keep getting calls asking if iv had an accident in the last five years, usually when I'm at work. I wasn't too busy one time so I said I crashed head on into another driver a year and a half ago and he unfortunately died on impact. I said I had received a payout but it was running low as a result of me spending it on private counsellors to try and cope. They told me they wished me all the best and hung up, I haven't had a call from them in a while actually. Also recently I had ordered a part from a broker for the zed, they were trying to call me to tell me they had broken it getting it off, when they called all they said was my name to confirm and I kept thinking it was another cold call and hung up on them about three times lol

I don't track my zed, but I have a k1 and can tell you without baffles it will fail, in fact it will make your ears bleed. With baffles it may scrape through, probably still fail on pass-bys

I prefer how the old one looks lower down at the rear, it looks sportier, kinda like how the Mazda rx7 looks. Sleek. The new one looks better from the front
-
Yeah I know what your saying, it did drag on a bit too long. Reminded me of Mr Bean but with TG presenters

Looks beautiful with the top down

I must admit I did laugh at many scenes in the grand tour, although as everyone else has said I want to see some more cars! I can see why they're doing what they're doing, as I'm sure there are many viewers who watch for the comedy rather than cars. Since they can't have celebrities come on, I would like it if they brought on a member of the audience who has the most powerful car and kind of review what it's like living with it.

Wow I like that! It makes me kinda want one. I love the shape of the one you have, the interim ones between yours and the 2016 shape I dislike - and iv realised why. It's the wheel arches, the way they don't flow and look like something off a Micra. Whereas your mx5 looks aggressive and has smooth lines. I like I was in one a week or two back and they are considerably lower than a zed which I like also.
-
The responses are great guys, I find it interesting to see what everyone thinks. 5+ years ago I test drove an ep3 type r followed by a 1.8 mx5. I preferred the mx5. No doubt about it the type r was faster and a capable car, but there's something about rear wheel drive I love. The hot hatch game is evolving and a lot of manufacturers are going awd to compete with one another, with the likes of the focus rs, merc a45, golf R etc, I think these are amazing! When you see these things off the line their performance is outstanding. Not to mention you can power slide!

12 years old and still sailed through its mot!
Exec replied to Chris.sawyer1990's topic in 350Z General
Thing is I know MOT testers, some of whom document absolutely everything. Even advisories including fog light angle being too high (rather than just adjust it). Whereas others are less stringent. It all depends who does it. -
I spotted this too and slowly paused and replayed till I found it also

I never stay with the same insurer more than a year, you get nothing for loyalty. I'm with elephant this year all mods declared £302, previous year I was with AXA £420. Who knows who it will be next year! I hope I save another £100 anyway. Edit: when I called to cancel the lady said would you like me to see if we can do it any cheaper? I said no iv taken my new policy out already, she didn't seem very happy and asked me to call before I swap next time. But to be honest I haven't got time to fanny about and it's easy enough to swap.

Il throw it out there, over the past week iv driven various hot hatches (not that I wanted to - work related) including the new Ford Focus st-3, Renault Megane RS, New Civic Type R and probably a few others I forgot about. Every single one I'm not keen on! They're just all a bit boring to drive, a bit predictable? Not to mention iv never found a powerful fwd capable of putting any power down effectively. I would much rather have any rear wheel drive vehicle regardless of power than a front wheel drive. Four wheel drives on the other hand I can understand. Anybody else feel this way?
