  1. Mine doesn't do that. Never heard of that before either. Today I drove a Mercedes A180 and that done a little toot when you locked it. I had to do it a few times for novelty value.
  2. Wasn't Crocodile Dundee was it? I would have done the same. Infact I would have asked if he would like assistance taking the tags off.
  3. Throw the tamberine in the crowd, doesn't matter if it knocks anyone out! Good performance with his new song.
  4. Iv been watching, toward the end now though. Coldplay are pretty good!
  5. When it comes to law I would love if the government put each individual case down to public vote. See what the majority want to happen. Have a phone app.
  6. On one side, if they shoot it incapacitate then it falls on the tax payer to pay for them within jail. On the other side they aren't the taxpayers problem anymore and we can forget about them. However they did want to die and we gave them what they wanted. How I see it? There will be more, and I don't want the tax payer footing the bill. Shoot to kill. Or shoot to incapacitate and then public execution (which isn't going to happen nowadays). Shame public exection was outlawed to be honest. I'd certainly sign a petition to bring it back.
  7. I blank out number plates if I need to advertise a car ASAP at work, but only if it has a private reg and I haven't had time to get plates made up. I had an angry customer once, quite rightly that his private reg in his old car was photographed and online. Me jumping the gun...
  8. When I've sold personal cars iv always advertised on: Ebay Gumtree Autotrader Gumtree got a surprising amount of interest from the three of them and it cost nothing. For a 370z advertise on here as well of course. I didn't really get any time wasters either, just had people turn up from within a 100 mile radius with a wad of cash. It's so easy nowadays to sign over the v5. - Make sure your private reg is already on retention if you have one. - As soon as they drive off go on the gov website and disclaim the car doesn't belong to you anymore. Only takes 5mins and they issue the new v5 to the buyers address which you enter in.
  9. I've just purchased a Cobra Resonated from Cougarstore which I'm fitting next weekend. Replacing a Japspeed K1 so I expect it to be considerably quieter Il let you know what i think of it once it's on.
  10. Some poor soul may go and see that, not knowing a 350z only has two seats. Then buy it!
  11. So excited!! Just ordered. After over a year of putting up with my Japspeed K1 system I decided it's too loud and booming. Enough is enough! Just read somebody else's post having just ordered a Cobra exhaust and they have specified which tips they want. Please tell me these come with some tips and these aren't sold separate, I didn't see an option! Cannot wait! I bet my neighbours cannot wait either.

These extremist tutors must really have a persuasive skill set, if they can convince somebody to commit such atrocities. Imagine if they set their motives on selling PPI, or cars. They would be unstoppable. Either that or they met the equivalent of 'Waj'. Did you see his fathers interview with the reporters following the incident? It was as if he wasn't bothered in the slightest his son had died.

He didn't look the brightest from the pictures released. Probably an easy and maleable asset for the extremists to utilise. Rubber dinghy rapids, bro.
  14. Game Over! Joking, congrats to you both. That cake looks lovely.
  15. Me and my brother share a lot about cars via WhatsApp, Il admit when I was in London a few weeks ago I did snap a few photographs on my phone to sent/ share with him. I was at a supercar event where the public could do a few laps of a runway in a supercar and my brother wanted to have a go in a lamborghini aventador so I took him there in the zed. The wait was two hours before he could have a go so we were sat in my car eating an ice cream and this kid comes over and peers through the window, he asks what kind of car it was and asked if I'd rev it so I did. He asks if he can take some pics and I say yes and get out the car so I'm not in his way. He took about 80, literally. Of non concerning items such as the rear wiper! All while his mum stood and watched. He must've been about 18? I was going to offer for me to take his pic inside the car but I was getting a bit cold standing around and wanted to get back inside. Quite funny that day.
  16. Look at that car twitching under power through straights and through corners. This is pushing the boundaries of being possible. How this lap time will get beaten I do not know.
  17. I'd feel rather embarrassed purchasing lego for myself as a grown man. Air fix kits on the other hand are awesome, I'd go and buy one of those

Seagulls are the worst, especially up where I work. There is a McDonald's close by and the seagulls and crows eat leftover fast food. They even get it out from the bins. This combination leads to monstrous sized bird splatters all over nearby cars. Oozing with uric acid etching its way through the clear coat on your car. There are two 'types' if you will of bird lime stains. Stain etching and more serious fractured /wrinkled etching. Have a look below. https://www.autogeekonline.net/forum/hot-topics-frequently-asked-questions/30535-how-long-does-take-bird-dropping-etch-paint.html If you happen to be unfortunate enough to have this happen to you for the most part, these can be removed with a good polish light heat from a heat gun or hair dryer (not too close as you will burn the paint). If this fails or you have fractured/ wrinkled etching you need to break out the big guns. In most cases it's fubared, however you can sometimes get off with sanding using 3000 grit and polishing the surface back up. With fractured etching there's a good chance you will go through the clear coat before its completely gone. Bird lime really does eat in deep. I'm pretty sure heat accelerates the etching, so make sure you wash your cars off before it bakes on!! Hope I haven't terrified you all

I had actually finished cleaning and drying off my car a few weeks ago too, when I went back inside to get tyre black and came back out and a big artistic splatter right across the bonnet! Just as this happened guests arrived at my house and I got told off by o/h for ignoring them lol
  20. Certainly looks nicer than the beans & sausages on toast which I would call a man-meal!
  21. Wow thats quite a masterpiece! It's only been advertised a week. If I wasn't so poor I'd have it

This is the 350z forum Dan, everybody is dodgy! Some more so than others.. With their exhaust spacer mods and non genuine plasti dip mishaps

You guys are right, there isn't a lot that can be done, politics won't fix any of this. This is mostly a home grown threat. Closing the borders won't get rid of the radicals breeding readily within. Kind of like a virus or infection within your body.
  24. Honestly, I know people will disagree here... Whichever is cheapest. Provided you can prove the particular exhaust you have is approved for road use. 'exhaust system changes' and 'aftermarket exhaust system approved for road use' may well both be applicable. But you may only be able to select one. What you should do, what I do, once you are redirected to the insurers website, check through the policy the comparison site has quickly and automatically populated and read the terms and conditions and make sure there's nothing that can be misinterpreted. I worked in an insurance brokers years ago and I had no idea why people came through the broker when there were comparison sites which usually offered much cheaper, like-for-like alternatives. I understood why an elderly person may want a broker to talk to and relay their info, as they may not be tech savvy or want a middleman to mitigate blame should anything be wrong! I understand why corporate or agricultural businesses want a broker... But for the average Joe... It baffled me. Needless to say I didn't really like working there with the likes of Nora Batty and products I didn't believe in.
