  1. You must have an imported JDM zed if you have a square number plate on the back, there was a topic about changing recently and as far as I read it's not illegal to swap to an aftermarket or UK bumper with rectangular plate recess. Iv also seen people fir a shortened rectangular plate (5 character prefix plate) into a square recess but I'm not sure what I think of this.
  2. Nice car, I like those OEM wheels personally. P.S. There appears to be a screw cap obscuring your number 6
  3. Just a bit too high mileage Dave, you are right it isn't everything, I'm looking for low purely for ease of sale if I decide to sell up.
  4. Still looking! When I find a car I like either the seller decides they want to keep it or somebody else gets there before me! Post here or pm me if you are selling or considering
  5. This was a few months ago Belfastboy, nice looking Zed! If this is still for sale 'I will eat my own hair' as Clarkson would say...
  6. Thanks Grey, all a bit out of my budget and milage a tad over what I'm looking for.
  7. I saw this a couple weeks ago, one would assume that because it is advertised on a motor enthusiast forum the owner would know his/ her cars exact statistics. Face-palm I do quite like that flip paint though, its different! the text alone would put me off going to see that car though even if it was what I was looking for,
  8. I'm with Neil, Looks good, much work involved and its not longer a g35. I also think the roll cage is puny, but I guess some of us drive roadsters I bet it would turn heads, it is an expensive conversion!
  9. Maybe he gained inspiration from one of these:
  10. I do like the first zed, although going from the last post it looks like it's already sold. Second one you posted I'm not keen on the wing and Cat C. Selling on can be a real pain.
  11. I'm looking for a 350z as the title says, at the moment I'm waiting for the right one. Yesterday I traveled 400 miles to view two zeds, but when I got there the conditions were poor! I figured I'm more likely to get a well looked after motor from the enthusiasts on here. If you are considering selling your zed, please let me know! What I am looking for: Coupe only Low mileage (below 70k) Any colour Preferably GT spec/ heated leather seats Budget top end £7,000
  12. Whilst looking for a ballast for my kitchen skirting/ pelmet lights I found a lot of these types of LED. My question... what are your plans to do with these? I guess you could have them under the steering rack & glovebox so the footwells are illuminated?
  13. this forum is part of the reason I want a Zed, everybody is very helpful
  14. Beautiful car you have there! I'm sure this won't hang about
  15. Just thought I should share this, I was about to go and purchase a zed about two weeks before somebody got there before I did and bought it! I was saving quotes so that if the purchase was sucessfull I could send payment on my phone and drive it back. A little about me, I'm 24, male, 5yr ncb (6 in a month or two). Quotes were coming back around the £400 mark from most insurers, however Miss Exec kept asking if I could add her on the policy, which is only fair as I've been borrowing her car whilst I'm car-less. So I added her on, which bumped quotes to £600. Her stats are similar to mine, age, ncb etc. Anyhow I looked further at variables I could legally tweak. I hadn't changed relationship to civil partner/ co-habitee! so I did, quotes came back at £350 With further experiments I took her off and added my mother, 25yr+ ncb, this increased it quite drastically. Needless to say she isn't staying on. So make some tweaks if you can people, if you have moved in with a partner they could well lower insurance! P.S - this quote is cheaper than what it would cost me to drive a 160hp BMW 320d (I use this to justify why I want a 3.5l sports coupe)
  16. Nice colour! I can't wait until I get my zed and don't have to borrow other half's suzuki swift!
  17. You must have met over half of the forum by now Wasso! Maybe me when I finally find the right zed, hopefully within the next few weeks (I need to stop being so picky). Nice 370 Keyser!
  18. I would have done the same and explained why. I remember doing it before when I saw some school kids bouncing a ball off the rear of my Car! It was a cheap shed but that's not the point ! Iv since moved to a nicer and quieter end of town
  19. Exactly what I'm looking for, if only you lived further North. I'm looking at a five hour journey to and from Colchester.Edit: 10hrs round trip
  20. I've been lurking this forum for what must be about 1 1/2 years, I'm now on the lookout for a 350z and previously have seen many z4's advertised on j17. I must admit after reading these reviews I would think twice about dealing with this company. Id rather save some cash buying private and put the rest in the bork funds incase something went wrong.
  21. Such a small world! I guess quite a lot if zed owners are active members here, just goes to show how uncommon these cars are. I'm also wondering whether ash has bought the same vehicle I wanted to go and see this weekend! (sold in first week)
