Oh dear that brush makes me queasy, I wouldn't allow my car to be washed by the Valeters. Iv seen some clean a shamois leather by pressure washing it on the concrete Floor outside...

Is it just me who feels sorry for that kid?

£2300 - Peugeot 106 1.1 First years insurance = 80% of price paid for vehicle

So today I bought a few bits and pieces not really thinking 'will this fit in the zed'? Anyhow it all did! more so the TV fit in - Remember guys - bigger than 32" and chances are you will need to take it out of the box
-
I'm with Payco on this one - sand it with a VERY fine grit paper and then polish it with a buffing pad on a drill or buffer & then seal with something... the kit is probably your best bet.

Iv yet to drive a decent auto with a lightning fast shift, I used to have a Mercedes c220 as a company car and hated the delay with shifting. I looked forward to getting back into the 320d manual I had at the time. Until I was stuck in traffic and I wanted back in the c220

What Veilside said ^^ Iv been keeping all my fuel receipts which il happily pass to the next owner (which isn't going to happen anytime soon)! I feel I haven't bonded with any of my other cars like the zed. It's unique. Id much rather garage it and buy another car than sell it. I kinda wish I'd kept my first car which I px'd for £200 just for those memories lol kept it under a sheet for a rainy day

Wow... That's all it takes? That looks like a one person afternoon job... With beer breaks!! No delay with that kit when shifting apparently, that's what I dislike about some paddle shifts
-
Either a Ford Fiesta or a Vauxhall Corsa - I can't remember I do remember doing 'Pass Plus' in a Fiat 500 (one of the first released) Driving instructor asked me "This is quite powerful, don't you think" ? I was like errrrr not really lol

My trip says I'm averaging 16.1 MPG at present That said I only drive short distance most of the time and through traffic which explains why its so low. I had it reading 35 MPG last week on a steady motorway run.

Is this anyone on here? DE in Gunmetal Grey with an aftermarket front bumper - currently in primer. Just noticed it this week parking on the same road during the day as my Gunmetal Zed. We Match

Congratulations! No more 'L' plates or somebody sitting next to you whenever you go out! This is a first for me also... I think I passed in a Ford Fiesta if I remember correctly. P.S sorry to hear about your insurance!

Iv read of our cars flaming with test pipes and N/A without boost? I don't know how credible these stories are

24 going on 50... I guess I'm one of the young guns amongst us

Hope this buffed out okay! I remember once during bad weather somebody posted a pic of their car after their neighbors 'For Sale' board blew across the street and smashed into their car... could've been worse!
-
If it were a stock bonnet and didn't have decals at the front and kept it to the rear I think its quite nice. Not really a fan of the vinyl wrapped interior. As it stands though too much for me

[SOLD]The Bounty Bar Kid's 2008 HR 350z for SALE!!!
Exec replied to The Bounty Bar Kid's topic in Zeds For Sale
I'm drooling looking at those pics... Nicely colour coordinated engine bay - I like subtle. Those tyres and Rays! I've just bought the same MPSS tires x4 also for £500 ish. Looks a well cared for Zed, I do hope it finds a good home! -
I recently watched a YouTube video dedicated to your zed upgrades Amy, nice work!
-
Could have been worse as others say, let's hope next week picks up for you! I can imagine one of those signs being difficult spot lying flat

I tightened the four screws tight... It didn't vibrate out.. I struggle to get them in and out even without screws holding them in! One was pushed inward and the offender obviously struggled to get it out. Four spring tensioned nuts don't fall out like that.. There isn't a particular market for crapspeed baffles as you say. maybe some numpty thought they were platinum or something after I cleaned the crap from from the outsides... Having shelled out for a new y pipe, four Mitchelin pilot super sports and some paintwork I'm holding off replacing the crapspeed for now. If I haven't found a replacement oem baffle by end of this weekend I'm ordering those toyo style baffles.. Ridiculously loud exhaust, not in a good way as people say.

Yes guys the Japspeed Bungs are 4" bungs reducing to 2" inner pipe The Ebay examples are generally reducing to 1" or 1.5" inner pipe - I just worry this may look silly being 1/4 the diameter of the actual exit As Follows: Pirhana: http://www.ebay.co.u...O_db2SSogOvVqIA Although I read the following thread about these ones http://www.350z-uk.c...-exhaust-bungs/ (why did the guy fab them to take a 2" inner pipe? Just to fill out the exhaust as I mentioned? Jap Universal Baffle http://www.ebay.co.u...awAAOxycmBSuEQ7 Toyo Sports http://www.ebay.co.u...SwT7xCjRRcCJJBw (with 1.5" inner pipe) I'll call Japspeed tomorrow and see if they can sell exhaust baffles/ bungs/ silencers separately... I shouldn't have to be doing this... AGAIN IF ANYONE HAS A K1 BUNG LET ME KNOW! Some peoples behavior baffles me also... EDIT - I'LL LOCKTITE THE THREADS NEXT... See How You Like That Mr Thief!! I Still Don't know where the incident happened - But if I caught them in the act I would certainly bung their exit!!

If ANYBODY HAS A SPARE K1 BUNG / BAFFLE PLEASE PM ME
-
Currently running a Japspeed K1, I'm careful about where and when I Park but it appears somebody has unscrewed all four screws, two per exhaust and stolen one of my muffler / baffles. So iv had to remove the second one and now the car sounds anti social... The second baffle was pushed in as they are quite tight to get out (I had to use cloth and pliers) It just so happens I removed and cleaned said baffles on sunday, and noticed a noisy exhaust on Tuesday. So somewhere between this time period someone has taken it upon themselves to help themselves! Can I buy these separately does anybody know? Or just drive around in my car which sounds crazy until I can afford a cobra?

I've just purchased one of these Ebay specials, I have yet to fit it, I don't mind if I get a year or two or 10k miles for the price. Anything is better than the state of the Y-Pipe which was on the car when I bought it I'm experiencing some blowing at the moment... Not in a good way either!
