......just a thought .... I have my obd port wifi dongle plugged in and have left it it for a while . Could this be a cause of draining my battery ? As my phone picks up the wifi signal from the house so I guess it must be live ?

Motorworld round the corner from me can do thier own brand one for £50 , 3 year warranty . May as well give that a go at that price .

Hi all , went to start the zed this morning and just turned over once and died .... Think I need a new battery . I suppose it's nearly 8 years old and sits there for 2 weeks at a time with out going for a drive . What battery would people recommend and where to get from ? Thanks

Depends on the job though, doesn't it? There's a lot of prejudice with owning a Nissan, at least as much as Porsche. One is owned by grandads and chavs, one is owned by w*ankers and show-offs. Some of us are enough of a show-off chav to have owned both! ;lol: Yes completely .... I'm a tree surgeon who's doing jobs for normal everyday folk , with an average job of around £700 . I rack up in a Porsche or such like and people just wouldn't like it . In my limited time of running my own company ( 5 years) people don't like it if they think you are doing better than they are .

I could have bought a caymen quite comfortably with my 25k budget I had for a 2 years ago for a car , but decided to get another 50 as I loved the looks the noise of the v6 and the bargain that it was .... Same reason I bought my first one years ago. Is the caymen a better car ? Yes it is in many ways but just wasn't for me . I don't wear rose tinted glasses because I own a zed and completely agree there are lots of better cars , but I appreciate it for what it is. I turn up to look at a job in a Nissan , I get the job . Turn up in a Porsche , I don't get the job . There is a prejudice that's comes with owning a top marque brand car , and I for one like the fact that with Nissan you don't get that .

Having driven a 2015 Cayman S and a GTR in relatively short space of time, the GTR does not even come close being the weapon the Cayman is. Best road car Ive ever driven, so balanced, responsive, communicative and bastard fast too. If you dont need 4 seats but take the R35 over the 981 then you are mad. And Im sorry, but anyone telling me a Nissan has more road presence than a Porsche ....... Well i think they do .... Maybe not a 911 but alot more than a caymen / boxter

A buddy of mine has one coming in Mexico Blue, quite the investment it would seem. Ya they are crazy man ... My mates already made 30k on it and hes not even taken delivery of it !!

Mine has always done this since the decats being fitted . So if yours hasn't then I guess it suggest that's something's changed ?

We all know the porkers are better cars ( not always more reliable though ) but we chose the zeds for the value for money , great looks , road presence , rarity and lots of other reasons . It's also a cheap enough car to play / mod with and this ,for me anyway , is half the fun of having my little Nissan , I love it !! Can't see me getting rid for quite a few years
