I just want something that looks pretty good ,18" which is light and has good offsets on offer and proper widths to run 245/255 and 275/285 tyres !!
Oh and can also fit over my 370 brakes
I think the bc's are a good budget coilover , although at the price brackets I'd be going for the meister's . Basically the kw's will be a lot better built units , better damping and all round better product ..... But would you or I notice the better handling on the road between the sets ? Note sure to be honest . I've always tried to buy good quality items that will last and retain good 2nd hand value if wanting to sell them on .
For me i always found the brembos a little under powered , although I was on stock discs and yellow stuff pads ( which I found pretty poor) for me the akebono 370z set up performs much better with better bite and greater stopping power .... This is of course all just my feeling/ opinion . Also I love the look of the bigger set up and what cost me around £800 to upgrade its a great why of getting a bbk .
But I do agree with all of the above .... Upgraded discs pads lines and fluid would be ample for road use . Also the stick suspension ,diff would also cope . But for me if you want to get the best out of your supercharged or even n/a zed then I think upgrading bits and bobs is well worth it !
Plus most of suffer from zeditus on here
Thanks for the link
I quite like the rpf1's and when you can get a set for around the £1200 mark with perfect offsets for the zed ( 9.5 et15 and 10.5 et 15 ) they seem even more appealing
ohlins , mishi rad , jack royal steering wheel , quaife diff , enkie wheels ,
Feels good to get that off my chest !!
Oh and clutch, smf , painted internals on front lights ( or depo ones )
Hello
Looking into these wheels and know a few on here run them . If its possible to post some pics that would be great . Also what spec and tyre sizes you are running .
Was going to buy some rays for track work and keep my 19" for road use .... But would rather just have one set that does both , which i think the 18" rpf1's will do .
Thanks
Thanks Alex .... Makes sense . So my sump sensor is reading before it's gone through my oil cooler and not what temp the engine is getting the oil ? So not a very good reading at all .
Ya it's crazy .... If you have the money to play with, these cars don't end up costing you a lot at all . The gt4 is a cracking car for 70k but they are around 110k now .... Not worth that imo .
Ya looked into this a little ...... The race logic stuff ... Buts its like £600 plus fitting ! Think i would rather get the suspension and quife on and see where its at after that ...... Probably summer !!
I havent had any coilovers but even if they were the same as the other bc , hsd i would pick the meister's due to the company ,they get straight back to you with well informed answers and obviously know tne product inside out ..... And as said above good back up service .
