  1. They are good ..... If you buy one that's got a lining and is breathable . And the most important thing is the car has to be 100% clean when you put it on . I have a storm force cover ....... Which will be up for sale tonight only used it once and is only a month old ( don't need it now as i am building a garage ) See for sale section later
  2. Long time no speak ! Hope you're doing ok dom and glad to see the stillen is holding the miles well I'm off ( again ) to h-Dev on the 20th !
  3. Dibs the stickers please ....once you've taken them off I'm happy to put them in my bin Glwts
  4. 15 ........ More like 50 !!
  5. ^ you got a pic with you in your car yet mate ? So I can try see if they sit lower/ the same / higher as standard .
  6. Pic whoring as I'm a ceramic convert
  7. Yes they are pretty pricey and the most important thing is that the paint needs to be 100% clean , that's why generally to make the most of ceramic coating its best to have the car fully paint corrected before hand . I've used 20 odd different waxs over the years ... Some of which were better than other ( dodo was great as was the cheap carnauba was from auto smart ) but still only lasted 3-4 months max . Ceramic coating does what it's called , coats the paint in a very very hard ceramic , which is why it lasts up to 5 years and helps gaurd against swirl marks ...... If it does last 4-5 odd years then it probably works out not that much different than repeated polishing / waxing .
  8. Silly question, how do you know if has worked? Haha, just clear the remaining product off and shine a light to it? well we have a couple of clear days... a year hahaha If you want to do it properly you will need to do it inside and have spot lights set up Sent from my potato using duct tape
  9. Ya same as above .... Was big into it but really brings the geek out in you ( well it did for me ! ) can't really do any harm with the da polisher though to be honest . I used to do my owns cars but after having my car paint corrected and ceramic coated at envy Valeting I'll probably never pick up my da again , the quality is so far beyond what I could achieve . Some of the best money I've lavished on the zed imo!
  10. And this will be the deal breaker for me ..... I really like " sitting" in a car not "sat " on it .
  11. He's 160cm, I'm 184cm You bitch ! Hahah ......
  12. Of course all he has to do is pay the guy then I'll disappear into the sunset mwahhh Boo .....I thought we were mates ! Late x mas present ?
  13. Not gonna happen with those seats as much as i love them , I'm pretty sure once I've fitted brackets / sliders they all seem to sit very high That's why I'm looking at the fixed back style as they bolt from the side thus making them sit lower .
  14. Gonna order quaife later on today mate
  15. All good point for and against . This is what I needed to hear as it's not exactly cheap getting a decent set of buckets, as I'm pretty picky with how I would want it to look . Appreciate all the help and info and I'll have a good think about it once I have the quaife and coilovers fitted !
  16. I know what you mean ... But I think the pole positions once retrimed in the same alcantara with a nice embroidered logo would still be pretty classy ? Don't really want to go gtr/ reclining seats as one plus point is the weight saving .... My cars a right lardy turd already with the charger and wot not fitted . Also the recaro recliners are stupid money
  17. Well im 34 and feel bucket seats are for younger people !! Does the zed suit these type of seats ? As its a gt car not a full blown sports car imo ..... But on a spirited drive the standard leather seats dont grip me enough and im slipping arounf quite a bit . I have the light grey leather and i love the look of it but fancy a change ....... Looking into the recaro pole position buckets and get the middle parts re done in grey alcantara to match the other bits and bobs in my car ..... If anybody runs any fixed seat( i know a few do ) i would love to hear how you get on with them and the pros and cons of having them ..... And i pic ( as we all love pics!!) Thanks josh
  18. Think he has connections at Porsche due to having about 5 of them !
  19. A buisness man would have the 50% profit in the bank and no car on the drive A business man orders 2 gt4's and sells one back to Porsche for a 30k profit ! Making the 2nd GT4 45k on the road !!
  20. Give it a good polish mate and some better pics . Also worth noting that the y pipe has either been repaired or lost its outer steel woven covering . These are great exhausts people and for 600 odd it's a bargain considering these are 900+ new
  21. Do these come with any bolts ...'or just re use your old ones ? Dibs please
  22. Perhaps I can twist my mates arm to sell the gt4 to me at what he paid for it ! Think I'm dreaming to be honest ..... After all he is a business man
  23. Does look really nice , good job On your recaro seats , can you get the belt clip ( female end ) to sit through the gap in the seat ? , if that makes sense ! Been looking at the seating position quite a bit and want to confirm you sit lower than the standard seats ? Any chance of a pic with you sat in there to get perspective ? Really appreciate the help on these . As you know they are pricey , so want as much info as possible before I purchase
