Phoned my nissan dealer and it appears they have stopped making a touch up kit for my zed! It's night blue on an 08 plate , paint code bw5 ..... Anybody know where I can get some from? Thanks

Hi all, I've fitted a alpine double din unit and have seen a few that when you start the car / stereo on it comes up with a "z" or "Nissan " logo instead of the alpine logo ..... How is this done? And who could do it for me? Cheers

HR version was the last ones they produced from 07-09 , has twin intakes and bonnet bulge Beat me to it

It is overpriced but what does everyone expect .... It's from a dealer who are a business that are in it to make money . I would always wait for a good private sale to pop up ... I did and got a 08 plate 25k one for £10500 ... Worth waiting for . As for finance .... I've always just saved until I can afford it and if I couldn't afford it I wouldn't buy it .... Old school maybe but it's done me no harm!

Pm regarding exhaust

So can someone explain such exhausts as the invidia Gemini duel , which from my calculations is 2.5" per side ( so 5" in total) and why this is ment to gain bhp? ( after remap )

HR all the way ..... Nothing that special about a gt4 to be honest . There are some bargain HR out there to be had , but saying that I would always go on condition and ( for me anyway ) depends what the seller is like

Thanks stu and just to clarify you don't get the drone at motorway speeds even with the HFC ? Regarding the 3" systems .... Miltek , cobra are all 3" systems are they not ?

Also not at all chasing numbers just wandering if there is a noticeable difference ( after a map) between the cheaper and more exspensive exhaust systems ( looks like the answer is no ! )

Appreciate the feed back ... My worrying about the berks maybe a bit ott then. Stu- do you have a sound clip of your scorpion and berks ? I always loved the sound of mt scorpion as said but wandered if they would be to raspy with the HFC fitted as well . Cheers

Hi all ... Sorry for another thread on this . I have used the search but wanted more specific answers. I am looking into getting a new exhaust for my zed , originally a invidia or miltek with Berks HFC ..... As you can see from my choices I want a mid noise level exhaust with no drone . I was able to get a ride in a zed with the invidia / Berks combo ....was really nice but maybe a tad to loud/drone for me . My main issue is that I keep reading / hearing from people who run the Berks they don't pass the mot ... This worries me , as you might as well run decats . Also what actual power gains are there from HFC ? 5hp ? Yes I know they sound nice but actual ftlb/bhp gain? The cobra ones are just to much money if all your going to gain is 5bhp . Now this brings me to the next question .... What bhp gain would you get from a cat back exhaust ? Obviously you will only gain bhp after a uprev map .... But say you put the same car ( both with uprev) one with an cat back and the other standard .... 5-8bhp? Another question ( sorry ) Is there any real gain from a cheap ( scorpion ) to a more expensive ( invidia) exhaust other than build quality ? I've noticed that the scorpion is only a 2.5 " and others are 3" or dual ..... Does this matter ? Does it relate to more bhp . On my last zed I had a scorpion and loved it but am I robbing my car of bhp ( after a map) if I run a 2.5" pipe? Last one! What increase in bhp ftlb does a standard HR make just with uprev ? Obviously all different from car to car but just after general gains Thank for all your help
