..... But yes the exhaust mod would void the warranty on the exhaust if it were to break or whatever . -

My reasoning is that the exhaust won't have an impact on engine issues .... Where as a air filter ( things going into the engine ) would . The steering wheel is just trim .... All the electrics stay the same etc . Yes I know a bit odd , but in my mind it makes sense ! -

Thanks Ben .....yes I'll take a look at the tyre dates and also ill check again exactly what they are , as I think they just say Michelin pilot sport on them ? And yes will be looking at new front pads for the front for the spring/summer as the standards don't inspire confidence that well . Still under the Bmw service pack for another 2 years , so won't be getting air filter done as I can't be bothered if I were to have an engine issue them blaming it on something stupid like the filter , if that makes sense ?! Can't wait to get the 2 pipe mod done though Ordered a flat bottom alcantara jack royal wheel as well ! Should hopefully look great and along with some other bits covered should make the very well built but a tad bland interior come to life a bit -
I'd say take it easy if you've only just bought it Yes you are correct , they do make some noise . Once it goes speak to cms on here about an extreme clutch / fly combo .

Ya ill be getting a set of mpss as soon as these are done , cant really justify swopping out as they have around 5-6mm tread . Few burn outs should sort that out pretty quick And yes loving it mate .... What a car . -
Ooo sorry man í ½í¸ž As said .... Stay around and we would love to see the new project í ½í±í ¼í¿¼

I think these with a supercharger on run about 600 bhp ..... In all honesty , its too much for it . The power is absolutley spot on with the 7 speed dual clutch . It only has 420 bhp but due to the gears stacked so closely it feels like alot more . -

Right managed to get a few hours today on the car ....... As you all know I like things clean ! So on every new car I buy I always like to remove all the wheels , wash all the arch plastics , scrub it all down and just generally make it nicer , and obviously give the wheels a proper clean / protection . When I started I found just how extensively Bmw used aluminium and other light stuff on the m3 , all the arms, drop links shock bodies etc are all Ali , front wings plastic , carbon roof , Ali bells on all the brake discs . The m3 is still a fatty but at least they've tried ! I have noticed compared to my zed it rolls a little even in the hardest settings , so will end up getting some anti roll bars . Also lack of rear end grip compared to my zed , which ran 285 mpss........ And then I looked at the tyres , thought they were mpss but actually are Michelin pilot sports . So that and the wider tyres explains when I feel the back end gripped more in the zed . I'll change them all to mpss once they are dead . Fitted my spacers , which make it look loads better . 15 mm front and 12 rear . Can't really feel any difference if I'm honest ... Which is odd as I think I ran 20/30 on my zed with rays and could feel the difference straight away . Anyway a couple of pics Love how they've vented the inner arch liner to improve the oil cooler efficiency! Very German Orders new wheel centres as they are a little corroded and booked in for a wheel to be refurbed due to the delivery driver curbing it ! Doh -
Cant argue with that !!
-
What was up with it then ? Did the importer not pick up on the issue?
-
What a waste of time ! All that waiting for something to be wrong with the car , i would have been proper cheesed off !!
-
Just make sure they fit .... As DE won't fit HR / 370 cats / decats .
-
Sounds cheap if it checks out ! Buy it
-
Light at last for a proper powered zed !! As said these cars should be 400 to compete with other markets ..... And the tuning potential would be awesome from it ..... Exhaust , remap , big intercooler ...... Boom 500bhp

Mishimoto Rad fouling on SC belt and hose
Bodyboarder81 replied to GeorgeB's topic in 350Z Modifications
As said George ..... It's only really an issue in the hotter months , and I bought the mm rad as it was a direct fitment ! But I guess on a charged set up every mm counts . Welcome to the world of FI!! Just to be totally clear the car in my ownership never over heated . But did get up to around 110 , I was going to get the mishimoto rad fitted as a safety precaution , along with the iat sensor in the inlet . What's considered too high coolant temps? Everyone who has fitted the frozen boost charge cooler has seen massive drops in intake temps and less heat soaking. I would be wanting to leave that in imo. As said though George , this is a great forum and full of helpful people and we are lucky to have such a forum ....... Also I'm quite nice and still around to help with your questions and queries ! -
That's a good list of mods you have and I'm sure that it will make the ford a lot better . You can just tell that exhaust is going to sound nice !
-
I had pressed plates on a few vw's and they were reflective and correct spacing , so perfectly legal . Had no issues at all .
-
Glad your getting it sorted dude and happy you are using jez and the crew as suggested . Im really sorry you had to do this though and i do feel a tad guilty ! But i genuinely didnt have a clue ! The oil pressure was as it should and thought that a 08 plate with 30k on shouldnt have anything to worry about for a good few miles yet . Again cant recommend H-dev enough ...... Once all the suspensions on and you buy that diff of off nic i would love to meet up and have a look/feel of it . Maybe H-Dev should do a zed meet at their place

Right got it yesterday .... Went driving most of the afternoon . No time to do a full review yet as I'm at the cinema with my son , at 10 in the morning .... Very odd experience !! Anyway a pic at my house -
But if you want something that's comfortable , has room inside , good on fuel and not tractor like , then there are plenty better options than the defender . Imo
