I declared my Cobra cat-back to Admiral, cost next to nothing - around £20 extra on the premium for the year. Obviously this doesn't include their ridiculous admin charge... And glad you're happy with it nissanman - I knew you'd made the right choice!

Not sure where I'm going to be on the 15th, but if I'm around I'd love to pop by for a little while. Do you need a firm yes or no Mitz? Or will a "hoping to pop in" do?

Finally an acknowledgment! Big wave from the yellow 370 driver, I was concentrating on avoiding stone chips from the untarmac'ed road, but managed a last minute thumbs up and wave.

First 370z I've seen in Nottingham since picking mine up! Driving down London Road about 5.30 evening on Saturday.

Glad you've finally found a system you're happy with nissanman, I'm sure you won't regret it. A couple of months into ownership and I sure as hell don't - it's still making me smile on every trip I make. Look forward to follow up posts from both of you once fitted.

Looks great mate. I honestly don't notice any drone on mine, and I've already clocked up around 1000 miles with it, mostly on motorways but also plenty around town. It's bedding in nicely too, making a great rasping noise in second and third when being pushed. And just to add, I know about drone. I had a Clio 172 some years ago with a Powerflow exhaust. You couldn't even have a conversation with a passenger when cruising on the motorway, and the stereo was pretty much defunct. Was still fun mind...

Both today, Thursday. The one in Holmes Chapel was bodykitted and around 2 pm - gave them a thumbs up and got a very strange look back. The one in Hale, later, probably 7 pm...

Yesterday evening, around 7 pm. Went past the Cornerhouse a couple of times and sounded awesome.

They are huge - but if you can't have massive pipes on the back of a fast Nissan then when can you! And yes, I was very keen on them not sticking out too far and so am very happy - a bit of a pet hate of mine.

They're 5" slash cut. Go big or go home Here's the sound clip as promised - you'll need headphones and the volume turned up...

I've got before and after start-up clips on my phone - I'll try to join them together and post them today. Not going to be the best quality unfortunately but watch this space... I honestly can't rate the sound highly enough. It's loud, but not too loud - certainly enough to turn heads when starting up at the petrol station - but not so much that everyone's turning their heads to see who's coming from a mile off. And like I said, when you're just cruising along at 80 or 90 on the motorway there's no drone at all, just a deeper warble than stock.

Around 11am Saturday morning. Firstly a black 370z with black wheels, between junctions 19 and 20. And then a convertible black 350z five minutes benhind it, also northbound.
