Tried Vault of Glass last night. Two hours in and only got to part three (of about 7 or 8 parts I think) before I had to bail. I don't mind the difficulty of multiple enemies but there's a system where you get "marked" for death, which means you'll drop dead no matter what moments later. I'm sure there's a way of avoiding this but I sure as he'll couldn't work it out! Got right on my nerves...

Just saw that on the Bungie website. Good news for me as I'm grinding the Crucible hard at the mo. I suppose it's good for level 30's with maxed out guns, armour, melee and abilities but anyone (like me) who is level 20 will be subjected to a great disadvantage! aka @sswhooping Don't worry, it's not great. It's just Control (called domination in any other multiplayer) but without Crucible rep. That's it. As with lots of aspects of Destiny it feels a bit of a half hearted attempt to add something extra...

Thanks for all the revives - think I only returned the favour once! And what did I get at the end? Legendary Titan boots, no use to a Hunter. Duly dismantled for 3 shards. I swear that's the hardest strike, that final boss is tough. Compare it to the other Mars strike (I think it's the Dust Palace?) which is a walk in the park. I'm well up for the Vault of Glass raid, so if anyone wants to add me then do so, bear in mind it can take between 2 and 13 hours to complete though... I'm on PSN (on a PS4), username hy6e

Haha. Every bit of that video is true! Especially the bit about not being able to stop playing. I can't quite work out what the appeal is, but it's definitely there...

Haha, don't think your lad appreciated the help - he booted me out of the fire team! I'm putting it down to my frenetic approach, it's a bit much for some...

Dodgy spacing is a real pet hate of mine. Keep it legit, looks much better IMO. I like StevoD's suggestions above.

I think the relics you need are just found all over the surface of Mars - like the Helium Filaments on the Moon, Spin Metal on Earth etc. The look like shiny tree stumps I think. And my advice for the Crucible is stick with it. I was useless to begin with, not saying I'm great now but I do at least nearly always finish with a positive kill/death ratio. Bering the boring sod that I am I even uploaded a game from last nigth to youtube, here if anyone is interested:

So might I get the ascendant shards from dismantling legendary armour? Because they sure as he'll never seem to drop.
-
26. Going to need a lot of "ascendant shards" to level up further, and they appear to be pretty rare.

Another thumbs up for Admiral here. Both they and Direct Line were several hundred pounds cheaper than the next nearest quote I got. Interestingly when I told Direct Line about my cobra cat-back exhaust they said it didn't add anything to the premium at all - although as others have pointed out the cost of a replacement exhaust wasn't covered.

Have you guys got your free armour shaders? Go to the Bungie website, log in, and enter these... Double Banshee: 7MM-VPD-MHP Oracle 99: RXC-9XJ-4MH

I got to 23, I have impressed myself I have a very well worked out style which varies between wading in guns and fists blazing followed by cowering behind a rock when it all goes wrong Very similar to my approach! Auto rifles all the way for me - and lots of ammo...

May be adding some of you on ps4 if you don't object, didn't realise so many of you were playing. Just reached level 25 tonight. Username is hy6e - hype was already taken!

370 feels a lot heavier, think the difference is around +200 kg. At the same time I really feel the additional power in the 370 - which is around +80 bhp. I was far more confident chucking the Z4 around than I currently am the 370 - but sure this will come over time. The 370 is definitely the better cruiser which I think would come as a shock to some as they see as a no-holds barred muscle car, but the Z4 was a bit like a go-cart to be honest. I honestly couldn't put one above the other - but I certainly love the 370 enough to have no regrets. And one area where the 370 is leaps and bounds above is the exhaust note - courtesy of Mitz at CS and a cat-back Cobra exhaust. Here's a pic of the Z4 for posterity...

I traded in a Z4 for my 370z - and the garage specifically asked if it had full BMW service history - but yes, previously to this they've only ever been interested that it had a full service history, regardless of where it's been maintained.
-
Thanks Mitz, if I go down the indy route you were my first thought obviously Could I get away with just the morning or afternoon off work if I brought it to you? Or would you need it for the day?
-
Thanks both, kind of what I thought. Truth is I will almost definitely end up part-exing, although I'm not even thinking about that at the moment obviously! And just for info my car isn't under warranty, it's actually a 59 plate, just with a very low mileage.
-
Hi all, So I'll shortly be needing my first service on the 370z, it's the 27,000 mile service so I make it a P1. What are peoples views on whether it's best to take to an independent specialist or a Nissan dealer. Don't get me wrong, this isn't about the quality of work that would be undertaken, if anything I'd trust a reputable indy far more than a faceless dealership - but how important is it for an all Nissan stamped service book? I'm not under any obligation to take it to Nissan as it's privately financed, but i've always thought that when coming to resale it's preferable to have a full *make of car* service history. But actually, when I was buying my 370, I wasn't bothered about where it had been serviced, just that it had, and in accordance with the schedule. As a sidenote to this, I phoned Nissan Nottingham for a price. When I told them the model they said they'd never heard of it, and asked if it was a "specialist" car?!?! They then said that they weren't accredited to service the 370z anyway and couldn't give me a price!

Not my had 370 long enough - but my old Z4 is on there still stickered up after returning from Le Mans...

Well on my trip from Nottingam to Cheshire on Sunday I saw two. A black 370 convertible in Notts, and a grey 350 just outside Knutsford. Not put either on here as neither seemed remotely arsed by my "freiiinds" thumbs up. Also saw one in Manchester on Monday night after the football, was on foot and heavily intoxicated so didn't attempt to make contact. That's three in the space of two days for me, I consider that I lot!
-
Never seen an S30 on the road unfortunately, never seen one in the flesh at all.
-
Must say that I don't see many. Maybe one 350 a week in and around Nottingham. Spend a lot of time travelling to the North West and it's no different there. I can still count the number of 370s I've seen on one hand, and that's in 6 months of ownership.
-
Not me, but just came on here with the same spot! Saw him just outside Knutsford, just before 11 this morning - we exchanged waves too. Knutsford and Holmes Chapel seem to be a hotbed for 350 and 370 spotting.

This morning, about 7.30. Can't remember much about it as was nursing a 4 day hangover and trying to haul my belongings through a muddy field.
