  1. Hi all Just wondering if anyone has a set of Tein S springs for the 350z they want to sell??? Cheers
  2. Yeah problem is tyres have 6mm of thread left on them, so not really wanting to scrap them just for the profile matching at the moment. But nevertheless I do get your point, I believe the 35 and 40 are % of the tyre width, therefore: on 245 front tyre 40% of 245 = 98mm 35% of 245 = 85.75mm So a difference of 12.25mm ( I believe this is how its worked out) To be honest its the rears to me that look more pumped up than the fronts.
  3. On Eibach's! I had Eibachs on my Alfa before and really happy with them. However on the Z the drop of them seems a bit too much especailly with the Nismo front lip and skirts. Although I wish I could have a 30mm drop on Eibachs and still be resonably practical, as it is my daily driver. P.s. For the record, I have seen pictures of your Z and it looks great, dropped and 370z wheels. Nice. Rears = 275/35/19 Fronts = 245/40/19 Just feel there is a bit too much room !!!!
  4. Nice Z fella. Quite a lot of good mods you have done, kinetic manifold pipes look great. IMO the engine should have looked that way with chrome pipes out of the Nissan factory. Did notice you do not have a body kit on yours, I think (correct me if wrong) but the Nismo kit makes the car bodywork lower to the ground than without. So just concerned the teins will give issues with me scrapping over ever bump on the road with the Nismo kit fitted.
  5. Thanks for info Ozzy, if you have any before and after pics would really appreciate that. Cheers
  6. I agree about the rolling circumference. However since fitting my 19inch 370z wheels on my 350 I find it looks like it is riding higher than when the 18inch touring wheels. More than likely perception rather than anything else and them being 10j on the rear I suppose. Just think a slight drop would enhance the look a little and not look as high.
  7. As the tittle says, anyone running the following setup? Nismo Bodykit 19 inch Wheels Tein Springs What are your experiences with this setup? Speedbumps and car park ramp problems? Any before & after Tein pictures? Thinking of lowering mine, but wanted some advice from anyone running this kind of setup . . . . .Thanks
  8. That cube is cool. Japanese Style Modding there. . .
  9. This is one of my favourite modern day colours that Renault red. Great work so far can't wait to see it at a meet. Although waiting till march would drive me crazy
  10. Wheels look great dude. Never been a fan off dark wheels, but this shade works really well. I like it alot. One question, now you have 19' on are you thinking the same as me, car needs to be lowered slightly? I find my car seems to sit a bit higher than it did on 18's.
  11. Very interested in what varnish you used. . . . could you let us know please??
  12. Silicone spray on seals and inside the locks too. I find it will last around 6 weeks, then simply reapply.
  13. TVR's, Morgans, Alfa's, Aston DB5's, American Muscle, they can all make it. Dan's mate came in a Gallardo! Excuses Excuses. The drive is actually quite straight forward to be honest. Tell them all to man up. :p
  14. Everyone says the dipstick on the DE is a nightmare to read. I find reading it absolutely fine. Quite easy really. The nightmare is taking the dipstick out and replacing. Try and take it out smoothly but quickly. As soon as its out hold it flat and read the level. Sometimes worth using a torch to see the level depending on light/eyesight. If its dry I would be topping up before starting it up. But its important you get an accurate reading. Over fillling oil is not a good idea.
  15. Sounds like it all should work out hopefully for you. My experience was the same at Le Mans (Portsmouth to Caen), told everyone I could its low, but still ended up on top deck. But for me there was no grounding, and they were actually very helpful, the captain of the boat was on his hands and knees guiding me in at an angle making sure the front was okay. Was quite impressed.
  16. Problem with all this is, now thinking of lowering it!!!!! Only a fraction! Teins. This Zeditus is terrible!
  17. Never been a fan of dark wheels. For me a hyper silver or a silver anthracite is what an alloy wheel should look like. But each to there own, we are all individuals . . . .
  18. Nice car fella. Not a massive Audi fan but I do respect R8's. Sure you will have a lot of fun.
  19. Can reccomend the Torqen ones, although have never seen spacers before so I cannot compare them to any others. Cheers mate, Yes 20mm on the fronts, needed to clear the brembo's and suspension parts No spacers needed on the rear. lol. Cheers Ian. Totally agree mate. Something I wanted to change from day 1 of owning, but just waited for the right price and time. Still waiting for some good daylight shots of your new bodykit on the Z. . . hint hint. . . . I run 35psi all round on these wheels with Dunlop's on. Look great by the way (at last ) Cheers mate, done 80 miles on them and they seem okay on 35psi, although has been a bit wet.
  20. Cheers Dude Well Chuft with them, Yeah Baby!! lol Shame they don't make the owner look 5 years younger.
  21. Oh and Torqued both spaers and wheel bolts to 115 Nm. Rechecked after 50 miles, all good. I did the Tyre pressures 35 psi all around. Is that right? Running on Falkan 452's all round??
